Based on this premise, even if the lakers don't get Howard, the east is already a foregone conclusion for four was. I disagree.

Well...Kobe is old and slow now. Steve is 38. I wouldnt pencil LA in for that long.

Not as big a problem as Howard to the Nets. Pick your poison.
Play time is over.

Im not worried about Bynum

Tyson & Camby could contain him..

Plus, the best shooter on the Sixers team is Jason Richardson

OKC still better. If Kobe and Nash were at least 3 years younger, Id be shook. But...theyre not. Westbrook gonna torch Nash and Ibaka owns Gasol. Kobe cant take over games like he used to. Dwights back is stil a huge question mark. LA has lots of question marks.

OKC HAS to be willing to pay the luxury tax and sign Harden and Ibaka now. That's the only way they can compete with LAL for the next 3+ years

So basically this trade was great for three teams...but terrible for the Magic.
when will it be our turn to win a trade?
We had a much bigger stroke of luck last year when we got Lin off waivers (then won the Bird's Rights case), but Dolan gave that up.
