He's turning into Landry Fields.

I can sympathize with the fact that he's being coached by a moron on a team owned by a bigger moron. I get it. I understand that he hasn't been treated fairly and is frustrated. With that said, you learn a lot about the character of a man when they're faced with adversity. A great player doesn't pack it in and sulk. A great player takes their anger and frustration out on their opponent in the form of intensity. I would much rather see Shumpert play like Sprewell and channel that frustration than slump his head and play soft. He's doing himself a disservice by completely crumbling in the face of adversity.

Someone needs to tell him to take his NBA check and start rapping full time. I honestly think he'll be more successful in that realm.

this all own shumpert this has nothing to do with james dolan, or mike woodson he had his chance he plays 30 minutes or more he hasn't gotten it done this season. He didn't work on his game in the summer time and it has showed he sucked there is no excuse for him to be this garbage.

even while playing his best, he was still average. decent defender, low IQ to become a great one. no ceiling. im glad he tried to improve his jumper, but hes easily shook.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Imam Shumpert sleeps on his stomach.

Never thought I'd actually say that he's playing worse than Fields right now.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

I was watching some highlights from his rookie season and wow he has made a complete 180 turn. Not sure if it was the ACL injury but before he played with confidence, played crazy good defense (not gambling on steals like his does now), and ran the floor hard up and down. I think he even had a better dribble. Anyways, bring back the old Shump.

I believe all the trade talk stunted shumps progression
That and Woodson is all over jr

It's a shame bc he has te tools to be a very good player

2 things have to happen
Either trade him ASAP bc he is checked out
Or being fire Woodson and take him off trade block

Bc he has regressed tremendously which shows he is mentally weak
As it looks like the whole team is.

And I am quite sure about at least 80% thought we should get more than just Faried

If Shump was on a different team with a different coach, he'd be 5x the player we are currently seeing on the floor. His trade value has probably taken a hit, but I don't see how his agent would want him in New York after this circus

Agents care about dollars primarily. it's rare to see an agent request a trade from a team willing to pay.

He has the same agent as amare btw.

Yeah, all his bull$h!t "swagger" and cocky "NY gritty talk" about hating to let people score is all bravado not bravery. He's empty talk. You could see it when he got into a tangle with Andray Blatche. He turned his head 45 degrees from Blatche and talked trash. He never stepped to him and looked in his eye. He's not a tough guy. He wants attention but he doesn't have the skills to hold the attention. He's that guy that talks "ball is life" but stinks. Is he the reason for the Knicks woes? Partially, but he's another failed piece in the puzzle. Him starting does not help anybody. And keeping him a starter because the guards are getting bigger actually makes the team worse. A guard who doesn't defend well any more, doesn't finish, doesn't rebound and score is what? Milt Palacio. Just because he talks fake tough and has nothing to back it up doesn't mean it's Woodson's fault. It means Shump is not a good player.

When we had Spree we had a player that stunk going left, played small forward and point guard for us at 6'5, 195 lbs and yet played at an all-star level at 3 positions. Not based on skill. Based on desire and determination. Does Shump have that? I don't see it. Shump wants the flash. I'm not down with that.

He needs to bring back the flat top, this is a classic Sampson story.
