He's got a player option at the end of this upcoming season. Chances are he opts out. Don't understand the need to get graphic, but it's possible that Melo actually takes the pressure off KP...because...that's what KP said and logically it makes sense.

last year melo didn't even command a double team, teams aren't afraid of him anymore because he's pretty much a low volume scorer at this point.

You can be a focus of defense without being double teamed.

If melo was an aging pg or at least an unselfish SF I would have no problems having him here for another year or two. I'd still want a pick. Cap space is nice and all, but seeing as we have no immediate need to spend any of it (and there aren't any realistic RFA targets), it's just a luxury at this point. I wish there were a way to pawn Noah off on them as well...but there isn't.

and that's what melo does, whenever he's not in rhythm he'll say "f my team" and keeps on shooting while ignoring everyone else until he gets into a groove.

we would have to take some $$ back but we probably will be able to save some cap space if its anderson (especially if we can send him to a 3rd team).

We are selling low we shouldn't they think they have championship aspirations and they feel melo is that missing piece then you make them pay. Ryan Anderson and that contract means as finessed ourselves.

they don't have enough non guaranteed deals to get us there. I think they may be getting close to Eric Gordon and NGT deals for Melo. Still would want a pick though.
