it’s his fourth games in the nba hes finding his way. he’s not being an idiot trying to force bad shots and he’s finding his teammates. that’s a good thing.

we demand satisfaction today. today i say.

I've really liked a lot of what we've seen from Obi. Don't wanna expect him to be as good as Blake, but he really seems to have a lot of old-man-Blake elements to his game while being able to get up like young-Blake. Once things start slowing down for him he's going to look really nice; nevermind when he tightens up his handle & gets comfortable shooting NBA 3s.

I'm all for starting Elf for the whole season. We can't have IQ and these youths f'ing up our draft position.

not really. even his defense isn’t as bad as advertised. y’all pulled this same schit with rj.

Well I think part of it is he’s 22 and was expected to be more on the ready/produce immediately side of things but he’s seems more on the raw side.

Overall I felt he had a decent pre season I would of felt better about it if he showed more shooting ability. I was pretty fine with every thing else.

Thibs on his ass & no Elf to enable his bad behavior had Randle doing most of the things he needs to to trick some desperate playoff bubble team that he can help them :D

Not starting IQ and Mitch sends the wrong message to the kids and team. All we keep hearing is that “you have to earn it” , well they have during these preseason games, and from what we hear, in practice too.

He's pressing a bit, but once the game slows down for him, I think he'll be fine. And he's actually trying on defense, too.

Thats really it. And it'll take a whole season. But he's unselfish and putting in effort if nothing else on the defensive end. People probably thought or wish sometimes, especially given thier disdain for Randle that Toppin would act as a go to player. For that they may be disappointed but at the same time you can almost feel like Thibs told him nah, you gotta earn it. Act almost like a role player, be opportunistic, keep your head up, make the right pass, hustle and in time that role will evolve for you as you figure things out.

Which always seemed silly to me when the kid was an undersized PG until just a couple of years ago. He's still very new to this whole being (a) big thing even if he is 22.

RJ gives me a Pippen vibe. Just a nose to the grindstone type game. Gets his quietly within the flow. Plays hard and smart on both ends. If he could get to 38% or so from 3... problem!!

IQ...did we just become best friends? Is this kid the stud he looked like the last 5 plus qtrs. I know it's scrubs he has faced so... let's wait and see but... I'm calling it... he's gonna be ready for he challenges. He just plays so poised. We shall see.

Mitch...doing Mitch things better. Stud.

Knox...holy fuqballs!! He looks better...when the PG gets him in his rhythm. When the ball moves he doesn't have to think. Just shoot.

Obi looks like he's looking for his role. He isn't forcing things and he looks a little shaky because he's finding his place in the offense. He doesn't look lost. Just looking for rhythm. He'll find it.

Randle looks good when he plays unselfish. The young guys were freezing him out too. get out if here already. Would it mind him as a bench 4/5 limited role..on that pay scale but...whatever. Buh bye.

It is amazing what a real PG can do for a team. Yes ..IQ is a PG and I was the first one on here talking about him in that position and people were telling me no. 8-)

Real games and better competition could piss in our oatmeal real soon but...this was a fun game and Thibs seems like the real deal. I can't help but think we have a couple of kids worth building around.

Shouldn't you just be happy that feeling Obi coming for his job as the #1 lob target, got your boy to take his adderall?

-Passing ability
-Defense is better than expected and isn’t a lost cause
-we already know he can score around the rim
-team player

If he can find his stroke he should be fine

As far as his strength that’s something he will eventually improve over time. I’d like to see him be a little more hungry on the boards if Theres something I really can nitpick at
