Draft Bones Hyland in the second.

I was watching the videos you posted of him and he looks nice. I was surprised to find out he’s 6’3. Thought he was at least 6’6. I wouldn’t mind him at all in the second round, although my preference is David Duke

Ya boy David is a sure fire first rounder. If he dropped to the second that would be a crime.

He might drop cause he’s mad streaky. I personally would still take him in the first round cause he’s too talented to pass up

I think most teams would take that chance. He is 6’5 shooting 41% from 3 and 80% from the line. He may be streaky but that’s evidence his shot is legit. He can rebound and pass as well. He maybe a late first rounder but he is still imo

looks like Caleb Love is having a breakout game w/ 18pts on 7-12, 3-3 from 3, 7 assists

probably too late to salvage his draft stock tho, may return to school

Did you watch him? I was really intrigued by him heading into the season but then he just kept laying eggs...

nah, I didn't watch this game, NBA for me tn. every other UNC game I had watched he played like sh*t, saw the box score tn and was pleasantly surprised

was very intrigued by Love too heading into the season. big, strong NBA ready size, who looked like a good shooter in HS. shot selection in college has been poor and his AST/TO ratio as well

Keon is cooking & Springer is looking as good as I've seen him so far this season. If I saw this kind of playmaking from Springer every game, I'd be a lot higher on him.

ESPN's broadcast just said that Keon Johnson was #7 on their latest mock draft :o

Looks like Ayo joined Ziaire in the triple-double club. Hope his shot keeps coming along. Not really high on him at this point, but the more NBA quality guards in this class, the better.

It's such a shame he's so tiny & his shot is so hideous, cause he's so much fun to watch at the college level.

The two freshmen Tennessee guards really took over in the last 8-9 minutes; after having kept the Vols in the game through Kentucky's great first half. Keon's defense after having tied things back up, in particular, had UK shook.

I hear ya, and as a college player he lives up to the hype. His penetration & playmaking are absolutely NBA caliber. He's just so tiny and though he's quick, his quickness won't be anything special at the next level. So it is likely to come down to his shooting becoming elite enough to make the rest of his game work.

If his shooting does improve enough, he could turn into a Celts-IT like steal for someone...but that is such a risky bet to make; especially in a class with so much quality talent with much clearer paths to NBA success.

Keon has great potential but I can't get on board w/ taking another player who is a below-avg shooter

big swing skill for him

Yeah, his progress as a shooter will be a huge factor in just how high his ceiling is. Has been up to 73.5% from the FT line since the new year, which is encouraging.

Though I'm really high on his potential, he's not exactly at the top of my list for this team...and I'd still want to trade up from the Pistons' SRP for Butler (assuming no Cade or Suggs), before signing Trent in FA, if we did use one of our lotto picks on Keon.

After today, I feel like we’re packaging both picks for a vet. No way in hell Thibs wants to develop another rookie

I hope not :banghead:

Leon needs to talk to Thibs this team isn’t 21 and 4. This myopic view of win now over everything is going to come back and haunt them.

If Leon rose wouldn’t even give Detroit back there second rounder which you know they wanted back there is no reason to have a “feeling” about this. Nothing about what happened with the Derrick Rose trade indicates he is trading two picks for a vet. Relax.

It also isn't something we've seen from the FO and (for now) is purely a fan creation. If our FO were really in a win-over-everything mindset we'd already have Dipo & Russ.

Fortunately having a feeling doesn't require having any reasoning behind that hunch. So folks don't need to let reality prevent them from freaking out about the sky falling.
