This will be my only reason to pop this on League Pass tonight. Can we just get Clyde trying on suits instead of Thibs coaching?

I feel like you've absorbed all the posting styles during your "read only" years. :D

It's definitely been a work in progress. I was giving myself a DNP until I got my post game up.

Ps.. Miller is a way better coach than thibs and cheaper as well. You got bamboozled

It all boils down to management and not Thibs.

And we didn't even win. Isn't that awesome? We TRIED to win playing vets over our kids, and we still lost. It doesn't get better than that.

At least we got Tom Brady of NBA in Randle directing players around like a true QB

no matter who and when. Herro, Nunn, Robinson last season. Achiuwa this season. they are a finals team and play rookies. we are 3 games under .500 and play a top 10 pick 10 minutes a game.

Nunn and Robinson are 25 and 26, thats the same age as Payton, Noel and Randle.
RJ is younger than Herro and averages more minutes than him.

yeah but they were rookies last season and not 7 season vets.
but anyway, I am tired of discussing this. yes, we are exactly like the heat !!!!

I mean ..who hired Thibs? And like did you expect Thibs to....not be Thibs? We signed him knowing who he was. That’s not his fault.

Sigh......

This tweet would make more sense if RJ wasn't one of the league leaders in minutes with stats better than last season all across the board and Mitch wasn't picking up more and more of the tendencies required of a defensive anchor (including staying out of foul trouble).

If this sh*t becomes a trend, I'm rioting. But not yet.

Management sucks and its ultimately on them to get this clown under control and they deserve their fair share of the blame, but ultimately its on thibs to learn that doing the same thing over and over again is not smart.

What rookies played extensive minutes on those teams?

So we only talking rookies now?

Well yes, because we're mostly talking about Obi and IQ, aren't we? Mitch is the only 'younger' player that is doing anything at all. The other 4 first round picks don't even play anymore. Thibs choice.

The only argument you can make is Mitch playing extended minutes in some games.

Thibs has always kept rookies on the bench. That's just who he is as a coach. Why hire a guy who prefers vets over kids when you're trying to put together a youth movement?

The play where Burks took a tough shot and it fell far short, Mitch is right there. He needs to gather it in and put it back. If he's that shaky around the hoop at cleaning up, then his value is really just D.

Obi was just a wasted pick.. he has no place on this team given who our better players.. IQ I see the gripe about but even he has played big important minutes so so can’t even complain about him too much either

Bam was buried on the bench for 2 years for Whiteside

They also tanked for Winslow and got rid of him 4 years later because he was mediocre. But we are supposed to hold on to our scrubs for a decade!

I didn’t say I knew personally but even then I dunno why management didn’t just trade Randle if you thought Obi was the future. Now Randle is a legit all star and we’re stuck with an older rookie who isn’t any where near good enough to justify trading Randle and giving him the keys... just a really unfortunate circumstance

1. Make Julius Randle the #1 option
2. turn the guy we were to build around (RJ) into a role player
3. ride with sucky players Payton, Bullock, Rivers
4. slow the growth of Quickley and Obi
5. completely forget about guys like Knox
6. and acquire Taj and Rose instead of giving the minutes to Obi and Quickley

Yeah, I'm not good with this as all.

For anyone who has paid attention to this franchise for more than 7 years, they understand your point. Same ole Knicks.

I don't even understand the commitment to making Julius the focal point of the roster. I don't think he'll be around when the Knicks actually build a team who competes. I like Julius, I just don't think he's a #1 on a great team.

who said we should? trade or cut them today. I don't care since they won't play anyway.

Rose is here because Thibs loves Rose and Thibs loves vets. Thibs believes Rose will get him a few more wins, which will allow the Knicks to possibly make the playoffs. Those are the only reasons.
