Brunson/Deuce
Grimes/IQ
RJ/Hart
Randle/Obi
Mitch/Shart/Sims

Evan/Rose out of rotation along with whoever fills the open spots.

Shart/Sims/Obi fighting for minutes.

Maybe they make another trade by the deadline.

Not upset but, the pick being ours kind of annoys me. We dumped bench fodder for a solid player. If Cam lights it up over there...maybe they get mad at Thibs?

Weird asset management style. Make mistakes and use assets to get out of them.

Can't wait to see him play and how he fits in. Hart to Hart. The Hart foundation. The Sharts(if they both play bad)

He seems like Grimes with less shooting and more rebounds.

Meh I guess? Suppose another move happens or Deuce is out of the rotation.

Welcome though Josh to New Yawk.

he's a really good rebounder for his size which will be nice because we aren't the best rebounding team.

He can defend and he can slash and cut...the shot is so-so and he kinda had a hitch in his 3 this year. But if he can get back to shooting better he's a really good rotational player.

But not sure where the minutes are coming from unless there is a follow up move. Mcbride is def out of rotation but thats only 10 mins...my guess is hard gets close to mid 20's in mins so they need to find about 14ish...is that obi out of the rotation too?

I like Hart from what Ive seen, but idk man am I supposed to be hyped about this? Lol.

Doubt we would pick a better player with our 1st rounder this year than Hart I suppose.

Too bad the Cam experiment was a complete failure. Would have been nice if it worked out.

So you think Hart takes Deuce and Obi’s minutes and we go to an 8 man? IQ, Hart & Hart off the bench? Thats pushing it even for Thibs. We’d need another forward whether that’s Obi or someone else. Feels like we’re not done but we’ll see.

What's the point of having a 6'7 guy that can shoot lights out if Thibs doesn't play him?

Good that he sort of has value as filler in a trade.

Hart is gonna play because Thibs loves him. It's what you do as GM. We saw what happened with Cam. There's no point getting players that won't get playing time. I don't care how nice you think they are. Thibs looks like he's here for the long haul so we might as well get him the players he wants

Hart isn't starting. Why do we keep assuming he's starting.

It makes perfect sense if Hart just takes most of Deuce minutes and some of RJ's.

he would have a to take damn ton of RJ's minutes and after that extension that seems unlikely unless they want to destroy RJ's value too.

The Knicks would be the type of team to trade a first round pick for a backup SG/SF. They traded a pick for a guy who never played aka Cam. Nothing Leon does surprises me.

Not sure how I feel about this. Looks like Hart is opting out too. We really don’t like picks apparently

Deuce avg 13min a game this season. Even if it was 10 minutes. RJ a tick under 35. You could easily bring RJ down to 30-31 and take all of Deuce minutes and there's 15+ for Hart

I hope Hart plays well for us but at the same time I hope that Cam lights it up on the Blazers so our front office can see what a clown of a coach Thibs is and can his a$$!

They still have a FRP. Mavs pick might even end up higher than ours. They weren't taking two dudes in the first round.

I do heart Hart. But it’ll depend how Thibs uses him. If he just gets 10min off the bench then def not worth a pick. I hate the trades where it feels like another move has to be coming…those trades usually don’t happen.

Overall though, I think Hart is best as an energy bench guy that can play and defend multiple positions. Don’t see him taking RJs starting spot, but probably takes some of his min.

Would also hate to see Deuce lose his spot too….actually would rather see Hart take Obi’s spot and see some small ball bench lineups….Hart/Hart/RJ/Deuce/IQ

thats a bit inflated...mcbride when we had some injuries had like a few game stretch of like 40 minutes per game.

Look at his game log when the rotation is healthy...its 10 mins at best.

Hart is good. Hustles like crazy, is a winning player. the anti RJ. Got a feeling hes going to be stealing a lot of RJs minutes at the end of games.

It seems like Thibs really needs specific skillsets for his system to function well. Hart in theory should be a much better fit. Very underrated defender, good rebounder and efficient player. Just not a very good 3 pt shooter except for one year of his career. You need multiple good match up wings in todays NBA. I like the fit for Thibs specific vision for this team. Solidify the complimentary puzzle pieces and then empty the remaining war chest for the Superstar.

This seems like a reaction to being priced out on OG. They went for a cheaper option in Hart.

You dont trade a decent first round pick for someone who is expected to take around 10 minutes. Hart is a Thibs type player, someone else in our current rotation is going to be traded.
