iHart could be gone.
OG in theory could be gone though unlikely.
Precious could be gone.
We're likely gonna be missing 1 or 2 of those key role players that this coming post season could've been HUGE for us, and we won't have them next year, this was our chance to do it. Next year who knows what the bench and stuff looks like when we have less cap space due to new contracts for guys like OG. We could change the team drastically if we make a trade for a star, but that wouldn't be the same team and who knows how it changes how we play.
I mean, Randle's injury is serious and OG had surgery. OG at least tried to come back. Real talk, we don't know what's on the list to figure out with Randle ... is he in pain and still shooting around?
He tore his labrum, the cartilage around his shoulder, almost for sure (almost always happens in a dislocation)
That injury needs surgery and the labrum helps with stability. But so does muscle. I would say it's unlikely he's still in pain from that injury unless he has dislocated it again ... in which case he should just get the surgery
But stability of the shoulder joint is not only about injury and I'd guess that his muscle mass makes it easier to rehab the shoulder back to stability ... and with little pain too most likely
So it doesn't make a ton of sense ... also Randle doesn't play defense and it's not his shooting arm, reducing the risk of injury more
To give you an idea, the torn labrum is only one factor in the stability of the joint. It tears in a dislocation, but it's actually something debated around medical circles how much stability the labrum even gives the joint. It helps, but it's not the only thing
A hard enough fall will dislocate it and multiple dislocations likely don't make it tons worse either
I don't get what they're waiting for ... but again, we don't know what they're looking at. A scan, though, has nothing to do with it. A labrum that is torn will never heal without surgery
He probably needs to be doing PT more than shooting around
All guesswork
