Raymond Felton + Iman Shumpert for Reggie Jackson + Thabo Sefolosha

Thunder get a 6th man + legit backup PG & get a younger Sefolosha who has potential to MUCH better.

Knicks get their PG for the future + a veteran version of Shump who is more consistent defensively.

i think the knicks give up too much in that

Pelicans make this trade to put Anthony Davis next to his Olympic mentor, Tyson Chandler. Also swaps Eric Gordon & his contract of 2 more seasons with Rodney Stuckey, who fills in perfectly & is expiring.

Pistons does this because they do not want to give Greg Monroe the max & acquires players that have a couple years on their contract for cheap & can contribute.

is this trade legal? i believe the pelicans hated the contract they gave gordon earlier this year, so i could see giving him up. tyson helped bring life into that team down there with CP3, they might want him back.

i see that for the pistons and monroe as well

Bargs/Moose/Melo/Gordo
If Mills can pull this off, and Gordon stays healthy, all will be forgiven.

Has anyone mentioned Tyreke here? Because I could totally see that happening once he becomes eligible for trading.

Can Tyreke still play the point position. Didnt he play PG in college and the first few years in Sac town and was pretty good???

He put up some gaudy numbers but never struck me as the best distributor. I'm not the best to comment on his potential there though as I didn't watch a whole lot of Kings ball.

It's a move that I could see happening.

seren was pushing a Felton + JR for Evans trade. I don't think that's enough, but if it's expanded, it might entice Pelicans who are looking for some veteran presence:

Felton + JR + Hardaway + Tyson

for

Eric Gordon + Tyreke Evans + Austin Rivers + Darius Miller

I'd try to ship Gordon for Dragic + Frye + pick and then Bargnani + Rivers + pick for Asik.

Interesting article on Bleacher Reporter regarding Evans as a point guard early in his career.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/442761-letrsquos-investigate-is-tyreke-evans-a-point-guard

I do remember him being a very good defender at the point, cause a lot of problems. Potentially maybe give the Knicks a defensive mentallity with him as a first line of defense and Tyson defending the paint.

I was looking into a trade centering around

Evans/Aminu

for

Shump/Tyson

+ change from NO to make salaries work. All of this is off limits until mid-Dec though so I couldn't really push it in the checker.

Not my favorite deal but I could see both teams digging that.

It works perfect salary wise. This is a trade I'd be for doing involving Shumpert & even Chandler.

No way do we bail out the Pelicans from that Tyreke Evans contract. Why would we deal our best asset for someone that would foil any type of plan for 2015? The time to trade for Evans was last year to see what he looked like on this roster before we made him an extension offer.

We need guys who get to the rack like Evans, but we don't need that contract.

first of all, if our FO thought as reasonably as your above post, we wouldn't be putting Shump on the trading block 'cause he hurt Dolan's feelings.

Tyreke is the exact type of player that I expect to get. here are the reasons:
1)he's a killer who should be behind bars.
2)a bad longer contract that the Pelicans probably want to get rid of.
3)he can play and gaurd the 1&2
4)he can finish at the rim.

Bargs/Melo/MWP/Reke/Prigs Tyson/Melo/MWP/JR/Reke

killer lineup, literally.

no, he can't.
his nba talents
1)ball handling
2)driving and finishing
3)driving and dishing
4)play maker
5)ability to play and defend 1,2,3 for an entire game

can't shoot. But on a team where he's got Bargs and Melo on the floor, it will still work...

unless, ofcourse it doesn't.

Check out his youtube highlights and what Sacramento Board had to say about him when they were deciding to keep or trade him. It'll tell you all you need to know.

Can't trade until Dec 15th
I should of also stated ball hog under NBA talents--but Melo does work best w/ball dominant pt gaurd.

I dont mind him having the ball as long as he's doing something with it

Reke will thrive attacking the basket with Melo and Bargs spacing the floor

The goal should be to get the low iq bums Jr and Felton off the team
On Curry declining

LOL at those reports suggesting Knicks are ready to trade Shump believing we have enough in Felton/JR/Hardaway JR. What we need is a completely new backcourt.

Return to New York Knicks
