Made some adjustments and went from 4th in the West (sepperated by only 1 game from 2nd), to CLEARLY 2nd place in the West!
- Warriors (2) & Lakers (7) will face off in the SIM just as in the judging!
- Mavs & Warriors look like rivals!Been neck and neck all Season!
- Thunder & Jazz managed to rise into the Playoffs. Props guys!
- Props to MP's Nuggets on taking the West!
- Greenie took the East!MAJOR PROPS TO HER!!!!
- The Heat (spree) fell out of the playoffs. Maybe an injury occured? They ran out of gas for the final stretch?
Br7, can you post my team's final Stats and Player Stats too? And the End of Season awards/ALL - NBA teams?
--Mags
i can do that, but i have to sim through playoffs first. so if anyone wants to make a PO adjustment to minutes, let me know

Denver 45-8
Memphis 32-20
Phoenix 31-20
Golden State 32-22
Dallas 30-22
Exactly why running the sim once makes zero sense. That Portland team is a sure-fire playoff team, even in that bunched up West.
That Portland team went 16-66That team is way too talented to lose more than 35-40 games, let alone 60.
for teams like portland that didn't give me minutes/depth chart, their depth charts looked like how when i went through and put guys on their team. so i don't know anyone that's on his team off hand, but his best players have had low minutes than in real life. that's my guess

Def think it was the limited minutes I gave them. I gave minutes to all 15 players (sorry br7) because I wanted to preserve health, and knew I should've upped them significantly for my starters for a playoff push after the break...should've went with my gut

Re: Build a Team 17.0 Discussion Thread #3 (NEW Announcement on PAGE 117)
I upped my starters to between 30 & 34 MPG, just like they would IRL. Before that, I had them at around 28 MPG. Fpr those playing all 15 guys that would NEVER happen IRL. You're REQUIRED to have 2 guys on IA to begin with!
So, nothing significant or underhanded for my team. Can't speak for anyone else tho.

lol it sucks with the sim because yea you won't have a 15 man rotation on a daily basis, but I dunno how else to replicate reducing minutes, resting players, etc in order to give them pt throughout the season. Prob over-thought it lol.

Yeah i didn't do too much. Gave a boost to O'Quinn and a small bump to Ennis w/ minor reductions in minutes for Nog/Mejri/Arthur/Baker - nothing significant but made a huge boost for 21-8 run to end the season.

Thanks, wish I would've had the minutes and roster situated as it is in my sig now - back when we were finalizing rosters and submitting write-ups/depth charts to the judges..may have made a difference.
Sim does add a fun element to the BAT though, I'd vote to have it play a role + judges in the next go around if everyone else does. Another perspective added.

Agreed - should be a good one. I think the lack of secondary offense on the squad will hurt my squad compared to the firepower you have 1-3, but wondering how the defense holds up.

Yeah I agree, either way you slice it, if the judges have to take time to figure out what kind of rotation you would run with and at the same time grapple with who'll miss/make the playoffs in a competitive west it put your team at a disadvantage.

Totally agree. Eh, all good - chalk it up to a rookie mistake and learn for next time. At least I have the confidence knowing I can build a competitive squad w/ a clear direction.
That initial salt factor was too real though lmao.

Beasley, Prince, and Ullis could EASILY be on the IA. That brings you down to 12 active. You could probably add Vobleh to that given your other Big Men.
But yeah, to u definitely over thought it. Especially given the makeup of your main rotation.
