Great win by the Knicks, happy for Derek too. Didn't like how Barkley tried to rag on the Triangle all game, he's just a bitter dude who can't get over the fact he never won a title. The Knicks will smooth out the Tri, they had some good possessions with it and some a little ragged.

But what goes over everybody's head including the so called analyst like Reggie and Charles, is that if they were actually watching the damn game they would've saw the offense controlled the tempo of the game and that's what the Tri does best.

Everybody expected the Cavs to run the Knicks out the building....didn't happen.

Stay up fellas and good win.

I don't really see anything wrong with your initial post and I don't think the response you got was necessary, but you responded with an equally unnecessary bait move. Let's just cut the convo before it goes any further. J4remi

Just dropped by to say I think Derrick Fisher really managed his player's minutes well. Rarely have I seen 12 guys get at least 5 minutes in a tightly contested game. Eight players played 19 minutes or more. Ten played more than 13 minutes.

On the other side, in his first game coaching in the NBA, David Blatt played both Irving and James 43 minutes. Marion only played 10 minutes. Mike Miller got 3.

Derrick Fisher is really popular with his players about now. Blatt not so much.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Well I was way off saying they're gonna get smoked. You can tell the Cavs are still adjusting to each other just like we are. While we didn't look sharp at times, especially those 2 possessions down the stretch where we had back to back shot clock violations, I thought they absolutely came to play with effort tonight. 30 assists is what stuck out to me the most and 6 for Melo. That's team basketball and that's how you play like a team and move the ball.

It's only the 2nd game of the season so let's not go overboard but let's enjoy this win after ruining LeBron's homecoming. Great win still.
Make the Knicks great again!

Wow, good win. Didn't even watch the game, but to beat Lebron/Love in Cleveland on the whole home debut thingy?!? That's pretty **** sweet.

Drinks all round. That's one for the good guys.

I like that regardless of winning or losing, Fisher sticks to his players. He doesn't put Melo back in the second they start doing bad. This way we have a fresh and ready Melo to dominate in the 4th. Fisher trusts in his bench.

so are the Bulls just that good or do you think we just had a really bad night & the gap isn't that large???

I mean I figured we had no chance to win at brons coming home party in Cleveland seeing wd got embarrassed so bad at MSG. they were up 35+ on us at one poimt

And to add to that about Fish, that's one of the traits he learned from Phil. Phil would never panic or show any nervousness in tense moments. Fish was in a lot of those tense situations himself as a player, so you can probably say he had a feel for the moment. The players on the Knicks just have to trust his judgement, I mean he does have 5 rings right ?
