I still wonder how "pharmcat" got to be forum mod, he loves gloom & doom, and never provides anything to this board, as an example just look at his post on this thread and everything he post...

our biggest selling point has been the ability to sign two max FA's. without that, we are pretty much left with the appeal of new york and its media market.

unlike others, I wouldn't mind coming away with bosh and joe johnson- but even that would be threatened the more cap space teams have. there are only so many fa's to go around.

A week ago, some of us Knick fans would downright laugh at Bulls fans' suggestions that they could get LeBron and Bosh, saying that no team would take on their trash.

Well, the Wizards did and LeBron/Bosh to the Bulls can become a reality.

I hope for Lebron more than most things in life right now. If he doesnt come, I hope the MSG fans have enough respect for the franchise to boo this man for his entire career.

For now, I pray. I HATE HATE HATE HATE the bulls. Even more than the Celtics.

You still have the Mets and an interesting WWE storyline :)

Said it before and I'll say it again, a team can be built in many ways, max FA are not the only option. We have a lot of flexibility and some good young players, stop with the doom and gloom scenarios.
If Walsh pulls out some good trade tonight, all those that hit the panic button right now will start praising Walsh again

Honestly I've given up - There is too much Joe Johnson smoke for it not to happen. I expect this is so we can sign Johnson and a PF. One max and one just under max.

Huh? You give up now of all times? You just reached the summit. No time to give up.

Have you seen all of the Joe Johnson BS swirling out there. Our beat writers are actively campaigning for him - and one of our insiders has reported for weeks that Johnson is going to the Bulls and has told teammates. Its unbelieveable.

But they could also want to play in New York for other reasons too. Remember guys? Mecca?

Whatever. You don't need to agree with me. All I know is that it ain't over.

whatever, i'm being serious, if the Bulls got those two guys i'd be pretty happy thats a serious talent upgrade

I hope you guys do get Lee but how would that be an upgrade for the Knicks considering we already had him on our team?

As a Knicks fan the opportunity to play in "the Mecca" is overrated as hell.

Yep. Though...

I just had a picture of Walsh asleep face first at his desk with the door locked and D'Antoni head and mustache bobbling up and down...

Lol, I thought you were going somewhere else with this... somewhere depraved and disgusting.

It ain't over until LeBron signs on the dotted line, but we definitely cannot stand pat after this trade. Walsh has to make our roster look more attractive.

I still don't see it. Again, Chicago is horrible. Only 11 games better than the Knicks and certainly worse supporting cast than Cleveland. Besides the fact Lebron will not play in Jordan's shadow and stab Cleveland a hundred times.

As for Miami...I don't think players like Pat Riley at all. Not even Wade Likes him.

There is only one destination NYK and I laugh at the media trying to ignore them.

why because he decided to join Bosh or JJ with Derrick Rose & Noah rather than Toney Douglas and Eddy Curry? for the love of god anyone would join Bulls roster over Knicks. LeBron owes NYC NOTHING!

hmmm if Washington was willing to take Hinrich and the 17 for their cap space....

do you think some other team may be willing to take on Eddy Curry for ONE YEAR and young players (anyone but Gallo... Douglas, Chandler or Walker and/or 2nd rounders) for cap?

Maybe minny? If chicago can do it, why not us? im sure we can throw a sweetener in...

if that DID happen, we may be able to have room for LeBron, Bosh and a 10-12M type player...

It's hard for us to be positive, we have had a history of really bad luck, this just adds to it
