Tru Dat. Someone made a point, that even if we trade all those players it wouldn'tmatter, because in two years, those guys wouldn't be here anyway. We have got to go get Melo, no matter the cost. You can find those players again. Get it done Donnie!!

It would be more fair if he switched every quarter... that way he could jack up 30 shots at the same basket.

Following this thread since Page 1 and although at times I've wanted to post in response to some sheer foolishness that I've read on here I've always held off for something more...quality (which this is probably not)...I guess you can say. Partly b/c I really enjoy a lot of the posters on here and respect their informative posts and don't want to come with some babbling emotional response to someone acting a fool. That being said...

Before sh** undoubtedly hits the fan this weekend (b/c sadly all this Nyets garbage is only the beginning) I wanted to remind everyone that at the end of the day it is only about the letters on the front of the jersey... not the back... that truly matter. I'd love to have Melo, but I also have grown fond of many of the players that we have. They have pride for that N-E-W-Y-O-R-K on the front of their jersey and Melo or not I only want players here that play with that pride. When Gallo hits that big 3 against the Heat in the Garden and turns to the crowd and raises up the front of his jersey as to say New York! baby - that is the attitude I want here. If Melo cares more about the $$$ in his bank account and goes elsewhere rather than bringing that swagger to NYC then I can honestly live with that, its not what we need here.

We have a young, although inconsistent, and talented team that is going to be fun to watch grow over the years - whatever their make up might end up being. So while it might seem like an epic fail if a certain A-N-T-H-O-N-Y is not splashed across the back of the jersey just remember that all that matters in the end is N-E-W-Y-O-R-K and I trust that Donnie will make sure to put that first.

Real quick. In 30's, long life Knicks fan and really the only sport team I'm truly passionate about. Found the boards during the Lebron debacle and been hooked ever since (hit refresh every 3 minutes to read the newest posts on the thread - some of you know what I'm talking about). Look forward to shootin' the sh** about our Knicks and for this Melo thing to finally come to an end.

Peace out.

lol

He is supposed to talk to the Knicks today. Wow. This is weird.

Melo will talk to the press at 12:30 PM Pacific Time.

KG, I'm calling it. Melo is a knick by the Rookie/Sophmore game. -Jitpal

You maybe wrong, and I don't doubt it.

I wonder if they want both Gallo AND Chandler. IF he refuses to swap the two then i have a problem with that, but if he is just saying you cant have both, then i dont mind him playing with them a little longer. In the end if he has to give up both though I think he does it. Depends what else is in this "deal" though.

He would end up with the most shot attempts ever in an ASG. Go get it Melo!

Lack of context.

If Donnie is offering Chandler, AR, Curry, a pick and Walker (for argument's sake) and Denver is pushing for inclusion of Gallo, then he's not screwing anything up by telling them it's not happening.

Donnie isn't screwing anything up here. The man knows what he's doing.
