Lin has a decent jumper though, he just doesn't have legit 3pt range.

Honestly, I expect a loss tonight.

If they do in fact lose, I'm just praying that Lin looks really good, because the thing I hate most outside of losing is having the focal players on the Knicks crap the bed in nationally televised games.

I soooooo do not want a repeat of the Miller/Shump incident on top of a loss. That's like those movie scenes where someone puts their finger into an already nasty knife/bullet wound to get a guy to talk.

Yeah if the play him like they did Rondo last night, they will give him that 15 to 20 footer.. He’s looked pretty solid from that range so far..

Nobody can expect anything from this squad. Any W is a miracle.

This is a good test indeed. Lakers play great D under Mike Brown... red-hot Celtics lost on their homefloor. The Lakers pack the paint, it's interesting to see what Lin can do.

But I don't think Kobe could check Lin... he's too old to catch him.

If Novak and Walker are both fairly hot from three land and Jeffries/Shump/Fields/Lin force steals/TO's, then we got a decent shot at this. Those are two of the bigger keys to this game.

Lakers have trouble with quick guards. I think Linsanity will be in full force!

Damn, I think MD will have to find some minutes for Balkman, we may need his defense tonight, Bynum is playing like an allstar, Kobe loves playing the Knicks, it will be tough as always this game will depend on which Fields/TD and Walker will show up, I'm not depending on Walker he is predictable, he only good every 15 to 20 games so we need Fields to keep attacking to keep the pressure off of Lin. I do not expect but so much from Shump, he will expend a lot of energy facing kobe.

Really feel like kobe is gonna dominate tonite. It seems to me, the nba players are sick of all this linsanity talk and want to quiet this "over-hype". If you been watching sportcenter, steve smith, jet etc all hating on Lin.

Unless a miracle, i don't think can win :-?

One thing for sure, it seems like Lin is always fearless thus far, because he has always been saying, he's playing basketball for GOD. Yes, if u dig up earlier interview. He always said he play basketball for no one but for the LORD *Jesus Christ. Thus he not afraid of no one, including Kobe. His faith in god is giving him the confidence and competitiveness he shown on the court.

I hope he wins, but i really doubt. Kobe seems to be hating on this kid already and will shut him down if he wants to. *and they have 2 of the best front man in the league.

I'm not expecting a win tonight. Too much size and even though Kobe has been shooting ALOT more this season, I expect him to realize the advantage he has down low and he'll keep feeding Bynum and Gasol. I pray I'm wrong and he goes into chuck mode.

For us, Tyson needs to stay out of foul trouble and not pick up to stupid fouls he does sometimes and I'm sure it's been said, but Shump needs to start tonight with Landry at the 3 and Juice needs to be the first guy off the bench. I want to see Shump stay aggressive like he was last game, because that could be huge if we could get the Lakers bigs in foul trouble

Worse part about the Lakers coming to the Garden is all the fugazi Laker fans/Kobe dickriders coming out in full force :nonono:

If Lin doesn't play well, I'm fine with it. As amazing as he's played, he's still in development. He will see different and superior coverages on the PnR and have to make the correct reads. He will get hit by Bynum and have to get back up and attack him again. He will be physically played by Fisher, and perhaps even see coverage from Bryant or Artest.

I can see this too. Bynum's a bitch. If he tries some shyt like that, we need Balk to go "Goon Mode" and get his Nature Boy chop block on
