How amazing is this kid? This is seriously a miracle for us. Jeez. He's even starting to make me like Dantoni.

Is Yao's English even feasible enough for them to hold a conversation and have a mentor to pupil relationship. I doubt Lin even speaks Mandarin and Yao speaks any of those Southern Chinese dialects.. how do they even communicate in deep thought?

Oh, I am quite serious. His physical abilities - speed, size, body control, toughness, vision, craftiness, as well as his attack mentality remind me of Iverson's.

His mental makeup... doesn't.

About to hear what these ESPN boys have to say now
"We’ll find a way to either make him a very useful player in our organization, or whatever"

Team ball is contagious. One of my favorite moments tonight was when Lin took a charge. I seriously stood up and saluted. Looks like Lin has a little Jared Jeffries in him.

Iverson is about 5 inches shorter than Lin. Iverson in shoes is 5'11 Lin in shoes is 6'4". Iverson's standing reach aint' good enough for him not to jump when finishing at the rim. Not even close.

RHODEY wrote:The one thing I love about Lin was what he said during the half-time interview after heading into the locker room with a nice lead on the Lakers... he was upset and said "I need to get the ball to Tyson more to get him involved".

Many of his TOs in this game was the results of such attempts. Tyson is not Amare and Lin has some room to grow to be on the level of Nash/Paul/Stockton to deliver those passes under pressure. But he is on his way. All he needs is experience.

I agree Iverson has those qualities, and I see them in Lin as well, and I loved Iverson, but Lin is not that guy to me though.

He has picked up parts of some of the best pg's to literally ever play the game, and I truly never viewed Iverson to be a pg.

This kid has studied the game, and he has a legit chance to be quite special.

The funny thing about the Laker fans talking crap about Lin, is that their team wanted Lin as well, and if was there and playing like this, they would be behaving just like Knicks fans are doing now.
