LOL....if thats what they're meeting is for than they are done either way. No one will believe what they say, its pointless to try to build a bridge annd try to PR your way out of this nonsense.

I'm surprised stat hasn't said anything, Must be nice for him to be in the clear for a minute.

Can't believe they didn't do anything they could for a title. Who gives a crap about 3 years from now?

Wow!

Uh..

5 million isn't bad for a starting PG. Dump salary after two years of championship contention.

I'm sure it will be a quick released statement. They want this over with and in the past as soon as possible.

Donté Greene could be a great pick up, even better than Barnes or Childress, fan favorite for sure

I still think we'd be able to unload those two guys at some point to a below cap team for a second round pick or so..

which goes to show you its not bout the dollars

Pharmcat got it right, not about money. They felt Lin changed, and got a big head, and betrayed them.

so they're gonna get back at him by.... letting him go for nothing to a place he probably wouldn't mind playing? that makes no sense. if you're upset at lin match the deal and trade his ass somewhere he doesn't want to go, like cold ass toronto so he can play with fields

in all seriousness it doesn't make sense to not match. even if he plays poorly teams will still be willing to take him on for marketing alone. we could at least get back a pick and a scrub.

they are getting their stories straight b4 they start the media talk and how to leak negative info on lin

the media spin in preparation for this has been bad, gonna be crazy to see how bad it gets once it's official he's gone.

Lin is a pedo, kills cats for fun, etc.

I just dont understand why they are making our fan base wait so long. If a decision was already made it makes no difference whether it is 5pm or 1159pm. This is just cruel and will cause more backlash.

Ronnie Brewer would be equally as good. Our bench would also benefit from a little youth since we looking like the Legends Team right about now.

True. If they ever do a documentary, they're going to use the footage from the press conference announcing Lin being cut from the Knicks. Whoever they send out there is going to get his face on film for the ages. It's going to show up on all the newscasts. Any bets, on who's delivering the soundbite and whether he'll be sweating in front of the cameras?

not disagreeing. maybe he bulks up during the summer and looks at training camp as the time to cut. that still doesn't explain last year. so..
