Ian Begley ‏@IanBegley 2m

This could be a simple coincidence, but J.R. Smith shoots 42.6% when Bargnani's on the bench and 31.9% when he shares the floor with Bargs.

Used to like JR but i cant respect anyone who wastes their talent, and an opportunity to make max contracts, just by smoking bud, drinking, and doing who knows what else. Thats the definition of immaturity. A guy like Derozan has already **** on JRs whole career, just by putting in some hard work.

And i know JR doesnt care if i respect him or not, but im just speaking as a knicks fan, this dude is a straight idiot and he could have been an all time great with his skills. Imagine tattoo-free, drug free, gym rat JR.

Um what does that have to do with the tweet posted? Chandler, Melo, Jr all player better without Bargs it's very telling.

Adding insult to injury...the ball bouncing back on Bargs really is the icing on the cake.

The point I was trying to make is that WHO CARES WHEN JR IS BETTER OR WHEN HE IS WORSE....... Fucc that dude, he throws everybody under the bus just to smoke and drink. Wish he was released so THJ and Murry could get his minutes, they are putting in work. Lets not forget, JR is not the "fresh legs" player he used to be, all that bull **** is catching up to him, now getting older and with a bum knee, AND dudes a bonehead? Man make room for the young guys

Wait a minute... Bargnani is the reason for J.R's struggles too? Tyson? The only time Melo struggles is when his jumpshot isn't falling and he attempts to shoot himself out of the slump.

This is silly.

Both Tyson & J.R. been ass since the playoffs, that has nothing to do with Bargnani.

Let me slide the hell up back outta this thread.

All the Barg stats mean is have Bargs off the bench.. let us run the old lineup with Melo at the 4, and when Bargs comes back, have him off the bench, he can be the backup center with KMart at the PF for defensive purposes.. no big deal, it also makes our bench more versatile.

i agree with this. the big lineup is no good and we're not sending tyson to the bench. thing is, when healthy, there aren't minutes for stat, k-mart & amare. one of those guys needs to sit and it shouldn't be k-mart.

And this is the whole point people are saying it shouldn't matter who starts where but it does let Melo have his space and let Bargs come off the bench.

Shocking. Melo at the 4 works. Too bad the front office is more interested in acquiring "stars" than developing talent and chemistry.

The Bargnani-injury winning streak will be the Amare-injury winning streak of 2012 all over again. Why is it so hard for the basketball executives and coaches to play to our strength -- Melo at the 4?

Bargnani is allright if you skip watching the game and just check his stats at the end of it. But realisticly he's a true team killer.

I'm watching knicks games, euroleague occasionally and 4th national league (since my town is there  ) and in 2 years I haven't seen in damn 4th national league such a garbage team defensive effort or so much ball hogging and killing of momentum as I have witnesed by watching Bargnani in Knicks uniform.

Also I guess most of you played basketball at some occasion and I guess some even had a "pleasure" of playing with a guy with similiar play as Bargnani has. Now I don't know how it made you feel, but for me it was.... well, he killed basicly everything I loved about basketball for me.

If I can't stand something it's:
1. someone beeing too slow on pass or throwing me a pass with bad speed when I get myself open. (all the running and wastage of energy for nothing)
2. someone failing to help others on defense (if I'm putting all my energy in it, so can others)
3. after failing on defense someone shooting the ball 3 times in a row after missing 2 shots. (you want ball on offense? fine! work on defense or **** you)
4. Someone running back slow on defense when you know he has the speed but is just lazy to use it
5. Someone selling the same freaking trick all over again and getting himself in situations it's either he makes it or oposing team gets the ball and the chances that he makes it are smaller then chances he misses, while you know he's clumsy and there's a better way of getting a basket then that.
6. Someone not communicating at all during the game and playing at his own pace all the time. (If I miss a shot, it feels nice if someone says something about it. If someone is sneaking behind my back, I need someone to yell me that, if someone needs help I want him to be vocal about it. If we're on point where 4 are giving 110% effort I want to see in eyes of 5th guy he's there too. ). Now if you watch Bargnani.... he's just constantly in his flegmatic mood, quiet and the only thing that does is, it puts some doubt in your mind or makes you nervous in negative way and you certanly don't need that during playtime.

Now look at Carmelo Anthony for example or Chandler who is supposed to be defensive expert. You can only wonder what Anthony is thinking when he's watching a simple basic mistakes on defence Bargnani does, which he most likely didn't see since his college days or even there. Don't forget that Anthony said that he thinks Boozer doesn't know what he's doing under the basket. Boozer! I don't even want to speculate how it makes him feel watching Bargnani there. Is anyone really suprised that after he is sitting on the bench for few minutes watching Bargnani or Stoudamire play, that he gets into the game and goes ISO so much? Why would he do that and he doesn't do it so much if team is running fluently? I can only speculate that he comes of the bench in mental state he might be the only salvation for the team.

Or watch Chandler reactions when Bargnani **** up on defense. I noticed at one occasion he was actually explaining something to Bargnani after his defensive mistake and Bargnani just barked some **** back at him and Tyson rolled his eyes. Bargnani is just sucking energy out of this team.

I don't know what his stats are and I'm not even gonna check them out, or what his shot selection is or whatever stats say. I don't think his problem is so much in the stats, even if he was scoring 35 points a game and grabbed 8 rebounds we would still be loosing. The problem isn't the stats, it's how he influences and makes others around him feel playing basketball and all the little things that stats don't show.

I still feel we needed to do the trade (ok giving a pick was redicolus) just to dispose of Novak's contract (which was **** up contract in the first place. Don't know what **** gave him that contract). But for the love of god Woodsoon, just keep the guy on the bench and play him as little as possible or against teams that aren't setting many screens and like to do ISO or plays that don't involve our C switching or having to guard space.

I'm sorry for the long text! felt it will be much shorter when I was typing it, seems Bargnani is really pissing me off
