Say what you want about a reach, you need a rim protector in the nba just look at the finals, mozgov(dont remind me) is destroying that GSW frontline. Memphis wins 50 games just with bigs, if you dont draft a big then youre overspending in free agency to get one.

I hope nobody draws up a noose over a couple Knick scrubs playing way over their heads and helping Lebron win a championship in Clev. This will be the last time we ever hear about these guys.

With the 4th pick in the NBA draft, the New York Knicks select...

a guy that won't live up to his potential fast enough for NY fans and media and will be traded before he gets to his potential. I've seen this story all too many times. It doesn't matter who gets picked. They will be packaged with THJ in a year or so and sent packing as the Knicks bring in over the hill talent and overpay them.

Sorry, I just am at an all time low with this franchise right now. Even looking back at the Curry years, at least we were somewhat competitive.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:

Our idiot owner will probably trade him before he even gets to play a full season in NY. The basketball gods knew what they were doing when they didn't allow guys like Rondo, Lowry, and Curry to be drafted by the Knicks. I don't mean to sound negative but I have a feeling that whoever the Knicks draft will either be the weakest link of the top 4 players that will be selected or will be an all-star on another team in a few years.

It'd be nice if the Knicks could trade picks with some team in order to grab two players in the first round. This is a team that needs to literally rebuild a roster from almost scratch. Be as it may, it might be in the Knicks best interest to take the BEST player available especially since it has been VERY difficult to find a second complimentary scorer alongside Melo.

And for the sake of argument, let's say the Knicks get a bonfide talent via free agency, what can it hurt to have 3 top talents that can spread the floor?

Chad Ford keeps going off about how Porzingis is the best slice in town. Yet, haven't we all heard this SAME talk about "the next Dirk" when Bargnani was entering the draft?

I just hope the Knicks don't overthink this.

What scares me is the possibility of Phil looking for triangle guy and NOT best talent out there. When you draft in the top 5, it should be talent FIRST. The Knicks NEED another big talent alongside Melo and if you can get one on a rookie salary, it's cost effective.

Whoever the Knicks sign in the off-season will try to rob them. So I prefer the idea of drafting youth, then trying to sign FAs to a one year big deal because the Knicks don't have a pick next season.

We should do the opposite of whatever Ford says is the best move
WTF Post of 2017:

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]
