Depends on the pieces we can surround him with in the offseason. One thing is for sure, Porzingis sure appreciates playing with Melo and credits him with making the transition into the NBA smoother for him by deflecting most of the negative attention away.
If Melo is traded next year and Kristaps is the tank commander for a 15 win team that won't sniffing the playoffs for the next 5 years, that could take a huge hit on his confidence and development.
People like you don;t care though, you just see LOTTO balls in your mouth and some pipe dream of building a super team through the lottery when statistics show otherwise.......
People like me?

STFU.. And what statistics don't show is which teams have good scouting departments and which teams don't. That's how the Spurs with bottom of the first round draft picks and one middle of the first round draft pick have been able to compete for championships built around a core that has past it's prime.
The foh I don't care. I wrote the manuscript on here on how to defend that fat bum Carmelo Anthony. He came up short time and time again.. because he can't take his game to the next level in the playoffs. Miami put an old man on him and shut him down... cats will post his stat line and they never realize his shooting numbers for that series only look decent in some of those games (Schitty in the rest) because his fat chucking self kept chucking but the game was out of reach while Lebron was off dancing on the sidelines.
The reasoning I love is that Taps would suffer if Melo was traded..

if that's the case he was never meant to be schit anyway.. with or without fat Melo.
If you guys want to carry this schit through the summer let's do it. I'll be here.. I ain't going anywhere until the bum that HOODWINKED me is outta here.
