Another wasted opportunity by this silly a** kindergarten franchise...

Blame the Wizards not the Knicks. Can't expect the Knicks players to just lay down on their back in the middle of the court. Bradley Beal looking like THJ out there.

I dont blame the players... I blame whoever made the decision not to blow up the team when KP went down.

I hear you but it's not like we've been winning games though. Before yesterday we were like 3-14 since KP got hurt and really we had no business winning yesterday but the Wizards were just terrible. Even if we take out those wins we would still only be what, tied for 7th or 8th right now?

I saw the basketball gods knock out Grayson Allen's shot last night so hopefully they'll work in our favor for not completely tanking.

Now, I type here as a defeated man. I hope next year we really gun for a top 3 pick.

If KP is down for the majority of the season, there is no reason to rush him back. Lotto odds are flattened too, so if we have the 4th odds, we have the same shot as the #1 worst team.

Our roster without KP is atrocious and even with another lotto pick this year it'll be terrible. A year from now I hope we are picking 1st. F this team.

This roster is atrocious with KP.
Our roster has been in shambles for 20 years.

Last time we did not tank we ended up with kP. Russel is ok and Jahlil is Hernangomez. At this point be happy to add defense and athleticism with either Bridges. Both as forwards also like to pass. Frank, KP, Bridges, Trey, And coached Tim is not bad. Maybe Kornet can develop into a stretch big man back up? Dotson have a good offseason and come back better?

I’m just a knick fan hoping for the best as usual smh. Tank failed but those ahead of us were definitely tank g harder than us. So individual players showing improvement is a good sign.

Maybe we didnt officially tank, but we had the 2nd worst record the year we drafted KP...we were in position for a top 5 pick

As much as I think Jeff sticks to the vets too long and that it sucks we're going to be in the latter half of the lottery most likely, people complaining that this team isn't tanking hard enough since KP was out are absurd and detached from reality. We're 4-15 since KP went down. Good for a pace of 16 - 18 wins over the course of a full season. Fact of the matter is, if tanking was your ultimate goal this year blame KP for going nuclear in the first 2 months of the season.... Even if we sold off Lee, KOQ, and Beas at the deadline what does that get us 1 extra loss over that time period? Most of the wins have come from standout Burke performances anyway... Teams got a head start on us tanking. It is what it is. Just hope we find a stud anywhere from 8-10.

Yeah we were most likely gonna win a handful of games no matter what by the end of the season. KP played like an MVP and carried us for a few weeks in the beginning.

I would blame management #1 though. We keep trying these stay competitive rebuilds. The Hardaway signing was pointless, and we have way too many vets. Wish we could take a more long term approach and had a plan. Accept that we are a bad team instead of trying to fake being a mediocre one

I'm in support of the Tim Hardaway signing so I'm naturally going to disagree here. I think he's secretly a very good player just not consistent at the moment. I thought it was a shrewd buy low signing except for the damn trade kicker which was the stupid part of the deal. However, I understand where you're coming from.

i hear that. i don't mind the tim signing, but i get it. some of it was remnants from phil tho, to be fair to perry. lee was already here. (i like him too and don't mind his guidance on a rebuilding team. i do get the conundrum of his presence requiring him to play minutes though.) noah was already here.

so far, i haven't seen perry do anything against his vision. even the mudiay gamble is the kind of chance i like to see. dude is trash, but was worth a look for the rest of his deal... even if as a reserve, he's a young one with time.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

I'd rather have our guard duo for the next 5 years and draft 9th than draft 6th and still need a PG in a weak PG draft.

Defensive effort was apparent all night. Has the grit, handle, jumper, and a willingness to get teammates involved. The best part is that he lets Frank operate as a facilitator still.

If Trey and Frank are going to be our backcourt, then I would rather not be looking at PGs in the draft and finally find a dynamic two-way small forward, because if Trey and Frank + a bionic KP are combined with an elite SF and you fill out the rest of the roster with great defenders who can hit their shots, you'll be in good shape.

I still think Trey needs to increase their assist ratios, but if they can do that and become the starting PG then that leaves open the question of how to slot Frank, because it still seems the club is going to start Tim at SG. I want to develop Frank as a starter so I'm wondering now if Tim becomes our sixth man and not Trey.

And I'm not even sure why Mudiay should come back next year. He really does not do any one thing very well. Why waste a roster spot on him? Even Baker is a better player and he'll be back.
