Let’s keep it 100, Butler is considered a tier 2 player but his personality and his play fluctuates between tier 1. Put him in a position where there is potentially a better player and it’s a wrap.

I’m starting to get on the vibe of **** a KD, get Kawhi and Butler

i see him on the same tier as a kyrie or a paul george. i always did. i'm not sure why he gets a bad rap.

Thibs mileage is my only concern with him.

Mileage and locker room fit

yeah, but there really aint a 100 percent healthy guy in free agency. kd - achilles, klay - acl, kawhi - hamstring/knee issues, kyrie - foot & knee issues, kemba - 2 knee surgeries. jimmy might be the healthiest.

Yes.

Damn. He should have opted in, took GSW money, rehabbed, and left

Why didn't he?

Kawhi and Butler together is a nasty combo

thats a dog with endless defensive commitment

combine that with RJ and Robinson and a guy like Milsap and forget about it

Low key if Melo come back that might officially break the spell.

We're relying on Perry to be that guiding light through the treachery and make the right decisions, because (besides Kawhi) there is no obvious path left. Fortunately that's what Scott has been building and preparing for his whole life, and all I'm going to do is sit back and wait for his moves.

I mean, that's all we can ever do, we're just fans. But this time especially we've got someone who has already demonstrated an ability to be measured and patient while also having an eye for talent and upside, and does it all while looking like your dad when he's too disgusted by your presence to even speak, following another one of your f*ck ups.

scott perry disgust face is truly something else

Knicks should organize a charity thing where people pay $1000 for Perry to eat slices of lemon.

Honestly... KD option is growing one me. There's no way Leonard comes to a rebuilding NY after winning a ring. And if we gonna be real, is better for the Knicks to sign a injured-out-for-the season KD and get another high draft pick then a healthy KD.

It can be a make the best out of the worst situation,

They seem to be getting early meetings with both. No fiction there.

If Kawhi and KD meet with the KNICKS before anyone else, that's a helluva sign.

Or it's just courtesy meetings before their real meetings. KD could do a courtesy meeting because of Ivey and his other buddies that are about the Knicks and Kawhi as well.

Butler + Kawhi + sign Rubio for exception for 1-year. DSJr could be 6th man or traded for a big. Bring on the ring chasers.
