What are you talking about? You don't get a no trade clause. They'd have a rehabbed 22 year old all-star locked up for 4 years and could actually trade him for an asset instead of cap space to sign a Morris twin.

He needs to play a season before you can confirm the rehab was truly a success.

And he's not worth $158M, so this premise that he was an easy sign and trade after maxing him out is a fallacy.

Maybe he is not worth it, but Mr SharkTank gave him. Who would you rather trust, Cuban or Pills bros, based on record? So, it is not a Knicks issue anymore. Knicks issue is a lack of really good players. Sabonis is available, but, of course, nobody imagines trading for him for Knox or DSJ :) Perpetual mediocrity.....

No you're wrong and Dallas is proof of it. Both teams knew he wasn't playing last year and Dallas was tanking. If you wait Dallas still makes this trade because nothing has changed. Then you have more information, like DSJ is injury riddled and mediocre. The one legged assassin and Kancer Irving are going elsewhere.

Lauding Cuban for rolling the dice on KP is not validation of anything, because now he's stuck with him and if for any reason he needs to unload KP he won't be able to either.

Actually, your argument makes Perry look smarter than Cuban, not the other way around.

Of course it will, especially because you have some people oblivious to the inevitable event that is coming when KP goes down again which will render all of their arguments for signing KP moot and bankrupt.

The petty resentment will be at all times high this year if they make the playoffs

What a difference a year makes.

The drastic change in attitude towards KP is foreshadowing how over the top insane the reactions are going to be all year.

KP is an all star in the West, Dallas makes the playoffs and BKN gets a home court advantage in the playoffs...

The fanbase will be picketing outside the Garden

He looked solid. Fit in easily as a #2. Was hitting 3’s from way deep.

23 PTS 4 rebs 2 asts 1 stl 1 blk
7/16 FG 3/7 3PT 6/7 FT

Luka was unstoppable. He was faster than everyone on the floor. His passing is what’s gonna make him a top 10 player throughout his prime. Maybe higher.

Their bench was solid but it’s clear they need a #3. I still don’t get why they didn’t go after Julius. Him and KP would compliment each other perfectly

One of the things when he was here, that bothered me the most, how are you 7'3" and can't rebound?

Luka is insane good. The Suns and Kings are the worst drafters in sports.
