We all started with clean slates, now you have your treadmill teams (Minnesota, OKC), your up and coming powerhouse teams (Cavs, Cha, Indiana, Clippers), your perennial contenders (BKN,Dallas,GSW,Blazers), doomed franchises (Grizzlies, Was). Decisions made in year 1 or 2 really handcuffed some teams, or put them in position to prosper down the line.

What year we ain’t been in the mix? Two WCF appearances, and losing in 6 and 7 games to eventual champs isn’t considered contenders?

Then what’s up with the Bulls omission from that list?

2 years ago is irrelevant to today, I'm talking about where things stand today and I don't think the Blazers are any more of a contender than the Nuggets or Jazz. Blazers had a bigger window 2 years ago than they do now. Western Conference has gotten a lot stronger and I just don't see the Blazers as a perennial contender. Year one you guys barely sneaked into the playoffs as an 8th seed. This year you were in another close race to make it as a lower seed.

2 years ago is irrelevant to today, I'm talking about where things stand today and I don't think the Blazers are any more of a contender than the Nuggets or Jazz. Blazers had a bigger window 2 years ago than they do now. Western Conference has gotten a lot stronger and I just don't see the Blazers as a perennial contender. Talking about sneaked into the playoffs year 1 we were the 8th seed and beat the nr 1 seed and cruised to a WCF appearance, year 2 we were a low seed and made the WCF, this year we pushed the champs to 7 games. We don't play regular season games around here, y'all just got whooped by the Mavs and you're talking about irrelevant, take your irrelevant team down the street.

Oh trust and believe, growing up in a Jamaican household I know all about that, but my mother's favorite line was "you just wait until we get home" lol. So I guess that's where my "Imma let you have it" in private approach comes from. I don't mind letting the GM know my raw thoughts about a player through PM, but I'd never shame them in the open. But who knows, I'm not perfect so if I slip up and say somebody sucks don't hold it against me

I don't think you have anything to worry about. You can simply say hey mph what do you know I won a championship and you didn't as a rebuttal and I really wouldnt have a response to that
