I said it in the game thread, we needed a game like this.we need to find ways to win when the 3 not falling.

Also contrary to belief, I don’t think our defense will take that much of a hit, we played team lock down defense for a nice stretch this game. As Thibs say, we just have to become a 48 min team.

it was the pistons gotta stop overhyping wins against garbage team's

i wouldn't even trade rj. i don't think you can win with ben being so passive on offense. he's like the ultimate frank

Basically lol. Scared to score. Biggest asset is his defensive versatility.. only thing he has over frank is playmaking

simmons is worth a lot more than rj. you'd have to do it even if you didn't plan to keep him.

Hmmm. Trade value yes, somewhat right now, court value probably yes. But if you take Simmons and he doesn't improve, I think his value could fall off a cliff.

I guess I wouldn't do it. I'd entertain it a little lol. Mitch and Simmons, still have RJ. Play Grimes. Can run the hell out of the ball. You'd lose a lot though.

I don't know that the trade value is a huge difference necessarily, with RJ on a rookie deal. The 6ers obv want a ton for him but that doesn't mean there are a lot of takers at that.

Probably half the league doesn't want Simmons at all.

Anyway, this is OT, pardon me.

Last year between 10 feet and the 3pt line:

SGA took 80 shots and made 35%

RJ took 169 shots and made 34.9%

They are basically exactly the same from that range

idk what stat you’re using there but I’m pretty sure RJ didn’t take 169 mid range shots  at most it’s 20 for the whole year

I took RJ’s and Shai’s shot profile from basketball-reference and combined 10 to <16 and 16< to 3pt line.

Like I said it’s basically the same

There is nothing to entertain. We could have just resigned Elfrid Payton for cheaper if we that's what we wanted

Listen Rj will never be a star!!!!!!

He’s just too stiff, stiffer than a cardboard box, doesn’t have any elite skills and has 0 athleticism!!!!!!!!

And that’s ok!!!!!!

He’s going to be a very good role player!!!!!!!!!

He’s a vital piece of our core going forward!!!!!!!

;t=8s

70% finisher at the hoop right here folks

He wouldn't survive NYC, he would crumble just like he did in Philly. He is now trying to go to some low market team like Sacramento where he can hide from the spotlight
