I think Kemba is the odd man out. Clearly Thibs wants Burks at PG.

Going to reserve my judgment on this move until I see the long term impact that it has. Whenever many Knicks fans approve of a trade it usually doesn't turn out to be a great trade. I remember when posters on this forum went bat ship crazy over the Ron Artest acquisition several years ago.

Prob means Obi is gone. If hes just gonna stand around in the corner then Cam can do that. Ill be sad to see him go, but free Obi elsewhere if he cant play his game here.

Let's not forget Mills and Perry were seen having a meeting with Cam just days before the 2019 draft, even though it was clear they weren't gonna draft him at #3. Wouldn't be surprised if this were a Perry move.

RJ was the leader of the Duke team - maybe having a familiar face in the locker room will help Cam develop. But he's still very raw, and fits Scott Perry's template of inefficient players.

It's interesting they traded a first for him.

Not sure how I feel about this deal, but I can't help but feel this is not an isolated move.
