You know Begley has no clue about anything when it’s already been reported that we can’t attach Bojan’s contract in any large trade. He can only be traded in 1 for 1 deals

I don't know any rule that forbids that trade except if we are/will be over the second apron when we can not attach any salary.

You're right -- but he was a kid following the advice of his dumb brother (who no longer represents him) and didn't know any better. I believe he also apologized to the organization and the fans. I hold no grudge.

this is another reason why a trade doesn’t happen without randle, minnesota is trying to compete for a chip. wouldn’t make sense trading kat without getting back close to equal value

KP was young and stupid and getting into bar fights, talking like he was some kind of street thug. He could have turned into a complete fool, but it looks like he sobered up and became an adult. He seems pretty normal now.

They both are super suspect playoff performers and KATs contract means he would have to be the legit #2 behind Brunson.

i hate that we have such a hard on for kat man.. i mean i acknowledge he’s probably a much better fit with brunson than randle is but i just don’t see the championship caliber intangibles.. much rather go after a more sure fire 1a type sidekick

KAT is a talented knucklehead… I don’t think you can win with a guy like that as your second best player with a $60m per year pay day.

Randle is also a talented Knucklehead as well but I think his pay will be more reasonable going forward (sub $45m)… so if that’s indeed the case, better to keep Randle especially since we showed signs of being elite with OG Randle Brunson.

I forgot which one of us said it first.... but KAT is a C. For me, the plan should be looking at KAT to play there. There are no Shaqs anymore... just look at the Finals. Not saying it's a great idea to pair Randle and KAT but it wouldn't surprise me either

Look at it this way. If we had KAT vs. Indy no way we lose that series. Versus Boston we'd still need to be healthy as a squad, but we'd be able to go up against them. We'd still need defensive depth if we can't depend on OG and Mitch staying healthy.

KAT could provide decent help defense when playing next to OG. We saw how even Randle's team defense went up a notch with OG on the floor. KAT did play Jokic pretty well on that end.
