I would say Thibs should just bench Bridges but there’s probably too much politics for him to do that and Rick Brunson and Leon would get rid of him

I never was a Mikal fan. You can go back to my posts when we faced BKN. Ive asked multiple times what people see in Mikal and was repeatedly told he's a great fit on the right team. And here we are you got 2 bonified all stars and a defensive juggernaut and hes absolutely lost out there. His defense has always been overrated. His jump shot is ugly AF. Start Precious when he comes back and have Mikal come off the bench. Maybe he can get his head out of his a$$ without the pressure of being a starter.

Unfortunately, due to politics, Thibs will be given the season to finish it out and Mikal will remain the starter for the rest of this season to work out his issues. Hopefully Precious "the walking miracle" could save us short-term...

You're talking about the man that played Elfrid like he was Jason Kidd, there's no politics, he just has his guys and will ride off the cliff with them.

Alan is pretty good and very knowledgeable.

Well, at least the team has probably the best broadcasting team in the league between Breen, Clyde, Monica, Crawford and Hahn.

this starting group has to push through it or show they can't before doing anything drastic.

we are getting close to the 20-game change threshold though.

what's crazy is I wanted the starting lineup changed before the season started... wanted Precious to start instead of hart.

it's hindsight but the whole giving him a pass for not caring/trying because he was on a bad team was a huge mistake and should have been seen for what it was - a major red flag.

there's lots of good players on bad teams that still give their all. the idea his defense fell off because he was on the nets has proven to be false - he simply fell off.

It's not just the bad defense. I can live with the bad defense at this point. But his offense also took a huge hit. He isn't valuing possessions like he was with Phoenix. So many dumb mistakes with turnovers and just shooting shots he shouldn't be shooting. That easy layup he botched, unacceptable for a veteran. If it's not a corner 3, he shouldn't be shooting them. He can run the bench with Cam Payne if he doesn't play right. Give me McBride.

It can't come from Thibs. Brunson, Hart, KAT, OG need to have a come to Jesus moment with him. Like seriously. There's nothing wrong with him physically. The effort on defense is garbage. I can tolerate someone's shot being off but letting the Hornets end of bench guys cook him is 100% a lack of effort.
