Lakers really have 2 of the most talented and smartest players in NBA history on their team

I think LA could win the chip this year. Anything is possible with those two playing on the same team.

Redick is also proving to be an excellent coach. Besides the plumber comments, he showed how intelligent he was as an analyst and podcaster, so it's not surprising to see him get the most out of his team. He understands the game at a much higher level than his predecessor. I think he's one of those coaches like Mazzula or Spoelstra whose coaching could make the difference in winning the series against a better opponent, and with those two...

HGH isn't going to help you hit threes at over 40% clip at age 40.

I don't think LeBron is on anything. He spends a ton of cash on his body, and he clearly has always been a hard worker and has avoided catastrophic injury.

I dunno how his feet and joints aren't killing him though. I was done with basketball by age 27 because my feet (i have no arches) and knees are f*cked from non stop basketball from the time i was 12.

Some people just have the genetics. Look at Mikal. Dude never misses time and he looks like a stick.

I think they might be conference finals bound. There is no way I'm betting against Luka and LeBron in the playoffs.

And yeah. JJ. A modern coach that knows how to communicate with guys 1 thru 15.

I hate the guy but I give him his props. I don't doubt that he has natural ability but he's just built a little too different. The guy is built like a horse! How much of that is genetics?

It's that they have two power wings, most teams are really only equipped to handle one, I don't think I've ever seen a team in NBA history with two power wings that are both hall of fame creators. We only have OG, he can't be on both of them at the same time, the Cavs don't have anyone, the Celtics are probably the only team with the perimeter to defend them. I think LeBron and Luka can hunt SGA for switches, he's a good defender but he's too light to defend them.

lol Donte had games like this last year. Is he looking like an all-star now? lol

this is who grimes has always been. When Grimes is on fire he can't miss. But even going back to college he is consistently inconsistent. He will follow up bad game with great and great games with bad games.

Imagine of Grimes does just enough to screw their tank

The only mismatch that can really hurt the Lakers is Jokic. I think I'd have OKC as slight favorites over Denver, and LA as slight favorites over OKC. But I wouldn't bet a sock that lost its soulmate in the wash in a LA-Denver matchup.

Watch none of these predictions come true.

I mean, it's definitely genetics but being 40 years old in 2025 isn't the same as being 40 in 1985.

Steph and KD are supposed to be retired now too and they are still going.

Philly went back to tanking since they were not being monitored on national TV by the league.

Back to back to back heartbreaking losses for the Grizzlies. Very dangerous to dribble the ball in front of Dyson Daniels.
