Yes we got outrebounded I will give you that (mostly due to us missing a ton of shots). That is partly on Thibs for only playing Mitch 20 minutes (he has that option to go bigger an he refuses to do it for longer stretches)...

Tobias Harris calling anyone soft is priceless though.

We need to score...its that simple. That is what this team was built to do.

It's Donte and Hartenstein that are the difference.

Which is ironic because there are people (not naming names!) who hated those players last year, but suddenly miss them this year. Curious!

No rebounds, outside of Jalen nobody drawing fouls and missing or refusing to take wide open shots. Some of that is playing soft.

What everyone is basically saying is not to play Josh hart more than 20 minutes. But Josh is a guy who has come through for Thibs again and again since he got here. So he’s not gonna be so quick to turn him into a 20 minute a night player.

If we're relying on the refs to win, then don't even bother playing the game. Being the better team will help you win more than any group of zebras

True, but I'll never forgive Zarba for not having the balls to eject Embiid after Joel elbowed iHart in the nuts and yanked Mitch out of the air (essentially ending Mitch's season)

We let tobias Harris get 13 rebounds. Let that sink in. There’s a reason why he’s calling us soft

Yet KAT doesnt get any touches with Tobias guarding him 95% of the time this series. We should be isolating anyone that is being guarded by Harris or Hardaway, simple as that.

Hart played 40 minutes would it kill him to play him 30 (and I am a huge Hart fan but certain matchups aren't ideal for him) and Mitch 30 as well? If you are that worried about "rebounds". I'm not even that worried about rebounds. KAT had an off rebounding game but was what #2 in rebounds during the regular season.

I'm more worried about shooting 42% from the floor and 28% from 3. Not having quality possessions on offense is the reason we lost that game. We just don't have quality offensive possessions a lot of times unless it getting a stop or turnover and Josh Hart pushing the pace. Our half court offense is a travesty and that is mostly on Thibs and some of Brunson needing to see KAT on kick outs when the defense collapses.

But Thibs can certainly get these guys better looks. What we are doing to KAT is a travesty...the two sets we call for him our 20 foot post ups and basically trailing above the break C&S or drives to the basket. We never get him moving off screens. We don't really use him as the screener either.

The only guy who was somewhat efficient was Mikal for 3 qtrs...then he had a disaster stretch in the 4th where he missed 4 shots (3 being open 3's).

So its a combo...we need to make our open looks when we get them but also the games should be coming down the the last 2 minutes vs this team. Brunson said we need to start stronger...isn't that THibs biggest value...the "most prepared coach". Why do we get off to such poor starts consistently.

we had two qtrs we scored under 20 pts in the game....I mean what else are we talking about here...a team with these offensive talent should not be scoring under 20 pts in any qtr at any time ever!

i don't disagree about the hart stuff. if that's your complaint, i understand it.

we always started strong in the past. we were a 1st quarter team. we would come out with intensity. but maybe we don't have enough intense players anymore to do that. they wait until the 4th quarter now when they have to play harder to come back in the game.

I feel its more that we still don't have a gameplan for a team putting a smaller forward on KAT....its been the case all year.

Our offense was humming early in the season when teams would guard KAT with there center because that is such a mismatch...the minute teams started putting there center on Hart and a win on KAT...the offense has looked so disjointed...you would think after all this time we would have actions to counter that move.

Because there is no way Tobias Harris should be able to check KAT.

The Pistons were one of the few teams that played their center on KAT all year too, but when the playoffs started, they switched it up.

The counter to teams playing their C on us is just to post up more, that has been the move all season, there's no screens by Hart on Harris forcing the switch so that we can try and get Brunson/KAT in an action where Duren is involved. As the defense you want the opponents to try and post up from the low block when the weakside helper is the Center, it's literally the main reason the opponents do it in the first place. It's how the Wolves slowed down the Nuggets offense last season, it's how the Celtics have made Embiid's life miserable in their matchups.
