I can’t see Twolves winning in the wcf or finals.

They owned Denver in the regular season.

It is. This is why I was so upset we couldn't see him healthy last year. We needed a look at him healthy in the playoffs before making that decision. If for nothing else than his value would have been much higher.

Imagine if we had this version of Julius out there in a lineup of JB, Mikal,OG, Randle, Mitch with Hart and divincenzo off the bench

We had this version last season. Then he hurt his shoulder.

And in 23. Then he hurt his ankle.

Randle was never going to be bad in the playoffs forever. I was not his biggest fan to say the least, but I never agreed with the notion that he was inherently a poor playoff performer.

Players just have bad playoff series. It happened to Dirk, it happened to Curry, it happened to LeBron. So of course it can happen to lesser players.

Nice to see him balling out. He didn't deserve the extreme disrespect from a lot of Knicks fans. His injury last year was truly unfortunate.

It’s a matter of whether or not Curry plays anyway. Don’t fool yourselves.

Curry extends the series, not wins it. Before his injury, T-Wolves were still the favorites. Everything T-Wolves do well is basically kryptonite to GS, and it took a very bad shooting Game 1 mixed in with a very out of normal shooting game for Green to steal it. T-Wolves should be up 3-0.

It's a no brainer at this point. KAT is a good player but Randle is what this team needs the most. We miss his shot creation, playmaking and most importantly he had that dawg in him. I still can't believe we didn't give him a chance to redeem himself to play healthy in the playoffs before shipping him away. That guy Rosas was too thirsty for KAT for no damn reason.

Like KAT isn't doing this to someone like Draymond Green ever in a playoff game. There's levels to this.

Dang the Knicks lose a game against the defending champs and the cuck energy comes to the fore, slobbing an opposing team for barely beating the play-in Warriors who are also missing their best player.

Sad.

Board has gone soft after 1 game.

Off last night's Wolves game I tend to agree with you. BUT... perhaps there is a Thibs factor and if a magic Jinn switched them so next game JR was back with us and KAT with MN, I still am not sure we'd have seen the best of either of them? :dontknow:

Context mattters - we wouldn't have the same players (DDV & Ihart) we had in that magical January to surround JR with. Would he still be as strong for us as he was then? Anyway, we have KAT now so have to focus on amping him up any way we can.

But we miss an enforcer. And though Mitch is valuable in some ways you just can't play a guy who can't hit iron on a free throw down the stretch in a close Playoff game. :nonono:

This was what I was thinking. Am happy seeing Ju succeed but we have to take things into context before we cream our pants. This team the TWolves are currently facing ex-Steph would have been competing for Cooper Flagg in a couple of days or so. Minny also lucked up facing a team with glaring holes in the interior in the first round.

Us meanwhile faced arguably the toughest or second toughest first round opponent among teams that advanced to the conference semis. We wouldn’t have won 3 of those games if it wasn’t for KAT not only being clutch on offense but also on defense. And that is when we barely make things easier for him and he has to bleed for his points. Can’t say I am not surprised with the takes of the people here (I already took the tour). But some mindset of the fans here may be the reason the basketball gods won’t grant us a championship in most of our lifetimes.

Randle and the Timberwolves took down the third seed (lakers) who actually beat OKC and other contenders. They were easily a much tougher team than the pistons, I’m not sure how anyone can argue against that. KAT was also struggling at times against Tobias Harris and now against old man horford. Randle on the other hand is destroying lock down defenders in Butler and Draymond green. There’s levels to this.

Can't even really compare Kat and Randle at this point. Probably the best young player in the NBA defers to him and let's him run the offense the majority of the game. Kat can't even consistently get shots up on this team. Like 3totheheadmelo said it's levels to this

I'm happy Randle is having a good series, but let's be serious.

We're a better team with KAT.

I have to agree. I’m not a Randle defender but KAT needs to play like a max cat, 2nd option. If the refs are not calling fouls, then adjust.

Horford is a good player though… Still, KAT was brought in to dominate and he needs to.

He’s making 50 million and he’s been mediocre the whole playoffs. We’re not getting our money’s worth.

Yea KAT almost seems like he’s already mentally defeated on a play when it starts… like he’s anticipating getting a no call and ready to start crying about it the second he gets the ball and gets resistance by his defender.

Like bro, channel that energy into anger cuz you know you ain’t getting the call, and attack the rim like a man. Dude needs to work on how to use his size and dominate… and stop complaining so damn much.. just accept it and take it out on the defense.
