Mitch is in a contract year. He’s not going for that.

My guess is Mitch was not fitting the uptempo, read & react offense Brown wants + nagging injuries, they told him his role will be reduced, he's not happy, now they're figuring out how to move him.

So unlike Thibs, Brown will be playing his bench. Gotta see what we have and hope some of these young guys step up.

unless theyre going double big just for this game cause its the cavs.
5 out isn't the offence you think it is. No team will ever hug up on all 5 players just because they can shoot.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has to be traded for someone healthy at the deadline. Plain and simple.

If we go into the playoffs with Mitch again we are cooked.

Wild take as Mitch has consistently been one of our best playoff performers. We dont win a few series without him.

I’m not doubting his defensive impact.

The biggest strength a player can have is availability.

The dude is a giant question mark due to his health.

Rolling the dice on our championship hopes on his health is no longer a gamble I am willing to take.

No dount he has health concerns.

By no means is he untouchable. But im skeptical if we could get someone as impactful as him on his current deal

He has been instrumental in everyone of our playoff runs. Id rather see us manage his mins and unleash him during the playoffs.

Don't worry y'all... Mitch gonna tweet some cryptic sh.it as usual. He is Mr. Glass and y'all keep saying DPOY or whatever.

Incoming "if you know you know"... "one day the truth will come out" ... "God gives me strength everyday....." ... "y'all don't know what i've been through"

With his contract situation along with games played the past 3 seasons (17, 31, 59) it’s probably in our best interest to shop him.

Sucks because we should’ve traded him years ago but he’s never healthy and has low value as a result. At this point, I don’t think we should take the risk of him not being around for the PO like in 2021 or getting hurt during them like 2024.

We should be looking to add a legit 5th starter if we’re not giving that shot to Deuce. Mitch’s archetype just isn’t the best for the role… should’ve traded him for Stewart last year. He’s not as a good a rebounder or rim protector, but his hands, passing, and shooting are on another planet by comparison, and that’s what we need. He’s tough physically+mentally n a NY dude too. Sucks we lost out

If at all possible I would consider some sort of deal where we got Kessler for Mitch, Dadiet, Kolek and 1st round pick but doubt Ainge would do anything other than try to rob us.

I guess it’s something to consider at the deadline depending on where we are and what we need. If Huk grows into a serviceable player then it would make it a little easier. We’ll have to see what’s out there when the time comes - ideally would be from bad teams like the Hornets, Wizards, Nets, Pelicans, Kings, Bulls etc. I would still aim to get a big back. Perhaps a big and a guard depending on who and what it is out there.

We have a long way to go to February. But I think at this point if Robinson is barely available thru February then we need to consider moving his expiring deal to win now. It’s a big risk to gamble on his health. It always has been for me - but it’s taken a significant step for me considering where we are as a team. If he has to be sacrificed for the greater good then so be it.

Not sure if this was posted yet but...

YO SHAM!! COME GET YOUR MAN!

Too soon?

This is just great. Hart's hand looks like the butler from Scary Movie. Mitch hurt his ankle again. Already.

Looks like some of these bench kids are next man up!!

There's a reason he didn't get extended.

Between this and the KAT quote about not knowing the offense, I think we’re already in red flag territory with coach Brown.

I’ve been a Knick fan long enough to spot a catastrophic coaching season looming in the preseason (Larry Brown, Isaiah Thomas, David Fizdale etc.)

the quote was completely out of context...the reporter replied that mikal was being very complimentary saying its tough for someone to connect to players but Brown does it.

Okay, I hope I misunderstood the context, cause the quote in isolation gave me pause.

We’d have to pay the “Knicks tax” for that…

It would take a Mikal type of haul for Pat Riley to even consider dealing with the Knicks

On his Facebook page it looks like he’s going through a relationship breakup with his recent posts.

Its worth it for Bam. The guy is the ultimate playoff winner being second best guy in runs facing Giannis, Embiid, Siakam and Turner. We would be very stupid if we dont strongly consider this.

I am even outright replacing KAT with Bam despite one having all time high and the other all time low value atm.
