Legit, you can actually tell who is rooting for the team to fail cause they don’t want to be proven wrong. The impatience is really astounding though. It shows a lot about a poster when they’re trying to claim victory 4 games into a season about how they were right that a certain player or coach sucks. Hell, they might even be right but they still look bad.

We just had our annual prophet of rage sighting so you can kinda tell. The next time he shows up is probably when Brunson has a bad game…maybe in mid-2026? Or he might try to show up and claim Brunson had a bad game if he puts up 90 points and we lose?

This team isn’t very enjoyable to watch or fun to root for. The forum is stale and repetitive, including me. I should probably work on a perma ban strategy. Might be time.

They trashed our ex coach and a former ex knick for 5 years straight after every single game and now since they got what they wanted and it looks terrible they want to preach patience and to act like “real fans” lmfao. The victim complex is real.

i try to remind myself that the vibes in october are never the vibes in april. but kat being the odd man out needs to be rectified asap since he's our highest paid player and #2 option. it is incumbent upon brown to get him where he needs to be. if we trade him for giannis, dope, but unless that happens we can't relegate him to catch and shoot release valve and expect him to be engaged

Conversely, I do get a sense of grievance from you regarding Thibs and Randle. The reason I say that is because somehow, you've told yourself that they've been trashed all of 5 years. There were ups-and-downs. When Thibs first signed, I hated the signing and the forum, to a large extent, disagreed with me very strongly and I was even flamed some. That in itself shows that people were willing to give Thibs a chance. He ended up leading the team well, winning COY, and people were behind him then. There were calls for his head with Fournier, and then he turned it around. In regards to Randle, we've had 3 or 4 Eat Crow threads; he was supported for a while, then not supported, then supported, and not supported. Even before he was traded, there was a thread about whether we should extend Randle, and the majority wanted him re-signed. There should be zero sense of victimization towards Randle; he was treated more than fair. Moreover, he was struggling himself, as he shared in an interview. To put it bluntly, KAT surpassed all of Randle's playoff achievements as a Knick in G1 against the Pistons in his first playoff appearance as a Knick.

Anyway, we're not asking you to give KAT or Brown what you gave to Randle or Thibs. We're asking for 0.5% of what you gave Randle.

it is early. but the point people made on here for years was that thibs was holding the team back. so far that doesn't look like the case.

lol.. this is rewriting history. You know damn well that 95% of this place hated Randle including you. All because yall was in favor of that boy in Toronto who ain’t sht.

You’ll never admit that Randle played on one ankle that needed surgery in the playoffs so you’re always going to pretend he played healthy and will hold it against him. And will ignore the games he actually did play well in too.

You never gave Thibs a fair shot. You been overly critical of him since we signed him which you just admitted.

How is that worse, we saw the same thing for 5 years lol. Lets see what Mike Brown can do in at least 40 games.

So far it's 4 games. Remember, Thibs was about to get fired at one point. So uh, lets give it more time.

Especially with the context of injuries - and a new system.

I can already see it, if the knicks lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs - even if they are missing key players with injuries. It will be used as "see, should have kept thibs" ignoring the team was 100% healthy in the playoffs last year, which was extremely lucky considering the players on the roster.

I get it that results are what everyone uses to judge, but context matters. 4 games in and the team lost 2 games on the road while missing our 6th man in Deuce, and Kat is clearly dealing with something.

Wym how is that worse  you guys are upset that we only did it for 4 games. But doing it for 5 years is okay? lol that makes zero sense. Thats like saying it’s better to be toxic for 5 years than doing it for just a less than a month.

Mike brown looks like a total downgrade from Thibs. Sure Mike brown can turn it around, but if you look at Mike brown’s track record it’s very unlikely it even happens. But if we win the chip I’ll eat crow.

You're really not understanding what I'm saying.

Look at it this way. Would you get mad at a coach after 4 games or would you get mad at a coach who is doing the same thing for years?

we can't start packaging randle and thibs together in all these conversations  randle was a rollercoaster and earned both his love and hate fairly. thibs had a ceiling and could be frustrating at times but was 100% treated unfairly by this forum because they didn't want to accept that some of our players have limitations to their games
