The better team won though who knows what would've happened if Paul wasn't injured. And Capela better start to learn how to hit his FTs. But I don't know. That shot looks pretty fcked up.

CP3 injury reminds me Pringles Suns ejections against Spurs

Its just sad Pringles will never get the full credit he deserves for basically being the founding father of the current meta just cuz he didnt win it all himself like it actually matters, casuals will keep ignoring moreyball but smart executives wont

Pops turned Spurs from boring defensive conservative into faster ball mover exciting Spurs and won after battling Pringles and seeing the light

Kerr copied Pringles and took pace n space into galactic level, will the Knicks finally manage to adopt? Stay tuned

**** D'Antoni for ruining the game of NBA basketball.

Chucking 3s is now the norm, even in the video games. I hate it some times. People taking ugly, most times contested outside shots is accepted. What ever happened to playing smart basketball?

D'Antoni as an innovator is well-recognized around the league. Its his unflexibility that did him in.

Rox guys had no legs and Harden looked gassed even from the 1st q. They are exhausted perhaps b/c of the 6/7 man rotation.

Honestly, I hate this style of offense. Started watching b-ball during the late 80's where inside scoring is prevalent. Yeah, the 3-shot gives the most points per shot alright but if the shots are not falling, why insist?

He literally went against his principles in the season and slowed the game down for Harden isos just cuz of historic ppp numbers proving his flexibility and trusting the numbers, Phil Jackson is inflexible still clinging on to halfcourt based triangle in pace n space era

The product of this new NBA will be a string of forgettable non competitive finals matchups. Its not a bad time to suck.

Yep... shyts getting annoying. Seeing dudes like Smart and Rozier chucking 3’s left n right thinking they’re the Splash Bros is not good for the game. Too many teams just launching bad 3’s. Even good shooters are killing themselves (Harden). It’s just becoming ugly basketball.

Just because the inside game has become neglected doesn't mean it won't come back. This trend has swung so far to the perimeter it is bound to be exploited by an up and coming team. Small ball may be the bread and butter of GS and when they execute they are awfully good, BUT it is also a strangely non-competitive league they are playing against. I wouldn't assume GS would stand a chance against the great 80s teams. I think they would get waxed by vintage Celtics or Lakers teams.

Dudes would rather pass up an easy open layup to pass it to someone at the 3 point line for them to miss. Especially on a fast break.

It's really painful to watch.

I think that was true here. The warriors just have more weapons. I really don't think there was anything more Mike could've done. I still think they may have won if Paul was healthy. Also, the rockets missed quite a few FTs and Ariza was horrible.

They're saying exactly what I was saying. Harden and Gordon should have been going into the paint and collecting fouls, but they were passing up lay-ups to kick out threes that kept missing. How is that not a coaching adjustment issue? They probably would have won by mixing up their attack, but it was almost exclusively bombs away. Dumb strategy

Gee, what a surprise...another Cavs vs Warriors series. How long will the series go before Durant drinks Lebron’s tears?

Sorry Magic Mike couldn’t taste the Finals. That MIGHT be Chris Paul’s window closing.
