Don't blame Dolan, blame the racist thugs on your team who pushed Lin out the door.

5/5/15.

Kris Humphries is going to make 12/12.

This franchise is a f*cking joke.

Lopez is making $15.8M per for a 4 year contract. And he kind of sucks. Lin is just one season at $14.89M.

Dolan has been public enemy #1 since day 1 of his Knicks ownership.

Sounds like a post from February 2011. And those posters went away once Melo hit that gamewinner against the Bucks.

Everyone will be saying "Jeremy who?" when on opening night Jason Kidd (assuming he's not in jail), Felton, and Argentina combine for 17 assists, Melo drops 28, and Amare scores 20 on 60% shooting.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012

How dare Jeremy Lin asks Eddy Curry money. Or Jamal Crawford.

I hate Dolan. He made Jeremy Lin sign the revised offersheet.

Guy is the modern day version of King George Steinbrenner. Just remember, fans only fell in love with George due to him getting kicked out of Baseball for a couple of seasons and couldn't have any control. That lead to the Yankees forming a dynasty that still last today.

? The Yankees were crap until George Steinbrenner bought the club for a song and a dance. He then threw money in it and, unlike Dolan, won. The Yankees of the late 70's were known as the Bronx Zoo because of Steinbrenner and Billy Martin..and Jackson, etc, etc...but they won. Biggest difference between Steinbrenner bossing around the yankees and Dolan bossing around the Knicks.

The only fans that could afford to go to games now are the one's that can't tell the difference between Jeremy Lin and the scary Asian reporter.

What I think people are missing is how rare a personality Jeremy Lin is, and how valuable that it is to creating excellence throughout a dysfunctional organziation like the Knicks.

I agree that his statistics are impressive. I disagree that he's the difference between a first round exit or championship team. The fact that we gave him away for nothing except to protect the ego and desire for control of our owner isn't just sad, it's infuriating. Millions of people care more about the welfare of the Knicks franchise than the men charged with running it. Just sad.

Was he public enemy number 2 before he traded Jeremy Lin?

All will be forgotten if the Knicks win.

Is there any reason why the Knicks didn't just sign him and then trade him in January? Why get absolutely nothing for a top PG prospect and the best available PG left this offseason?

ibraheim718,

agreed with your posts and I think it hits us as older fans more so than the younger ones because they have not experienced the pain long enough. I am in the same age range as you I am 40 been a fan since Michael Ray Richardson days. I used to have problems with the Checketts/Grunfeld regime or the Pitino era but I think i would trade for that right now if I could.

As I stated I will still follow the team but just not with the same enthusiasm and outside of a select few players, some members of this knicks team will be hard to root for

so how do we get rid of him again? We'd have to sabotage everything related to the Knicks, Cablevision, MSG, Rockefeller Center, and all his other assets to make him into a miserable bankrupt person. Matter of fact, we better stop watching games on MSG too.
