NBA used to be so much more fun with Rodman trolling and all the scuffles that were allowed. Now every player gets outraged and offended if someone looks at him funny on the court.

The game is soooo soft these days. If Bron did a dunk like he did last night and stood over John Starks staring instead of Jason Terry...he wouldn't have been able to approach the rim without bruised ribs for the rest of the game.

Watching Shaq duel with Mchale and Robert Parish or Kareem...that'd be amazing. Bill Russell was probably too small but if they were physically close enough...Russell v Shaq would be epic too.

Yea, it would've been a treat. Rookie Shaq did abuse Chief though, I think Shaq is pretty underrated. 1 MVP?

Oak would have immediately checked himself in, and let Lebron know on the very next play.

the 04 Pistons I would give a shot at beating this Heat team with no bigs that Miami has, Ben Wallace would toss Bosh like a rag doll. Playing a halfcourt game and making Miami shoot from the outside is how you beat them. Our team that we have right now has the pieces to do it but needs to put it all together and play as a team no iso ball, and be healthy to doesnt hurt. Woodson was a coach on that 04 Pistons team.

Steve Nash owns an MVP that should clearly have Shaq's name carved into it. Young Shaq vs Dream is epic...the numbers make it look closer than I remember it though. In my mind, Hakeem >>> Shaq...but then again Hakeem is a top 3 C all time in my mind.

Forget what the #'s say, Hakeem used to eat young Shaq alive.

 I can literally picture Oak walking over to check in without Pat Riley batting an eye even though he didn't say anything. Oakley and Mason would be frothing at the mouths while Ewing iced his knees.

Hakeem ate everyone alive though...Ewing, Robinson, Shaq...it didn't matter that they were legends. Wasn't it the same year that Robinson won the MVP where Hakeem caught him in the playoffs and decimated dude?

Yeah. In Rodman's book he took on Dream cause DRob couldn't and noted that Avery dressed down DRob in the locker room.

A young Hakeem ate Kareem and the showtime Lakers alive in 86 and kept the Rockets in a series against the Celtics

When I was a little kid, I used to get mad at Ewing for not being Hakeem the way everyone here gets mad at Melo for not being Lebron.

The man was just too much out there.

Lebron James is becoming the greatest player in the last 50 years. How can anyone not root for this guy?

That's exactly why he is here.

Even though he might be overmatched against other teams and the team as a whole, he gets these Knicks to play the Heat shorthanded or not.

I wont give him that just yet, but comparing him to all of those greats at the same age, he is certainly in the discussion.

For all time status he needs more rings and a couple more MVP's.

But most importantly absolute dominance as the leader of a dynasty.
