It is amazing how many steals he has considering he's played 30 less games than guys who have played all year.

At his steals average, he'd probably be in the top 3 in steals this season, had he played a full season, and kept his average up.

His anticipation is amongst the best in the league.

Without question. I really love his all around game and what's scary, is that he's only 22 years of age during only his second NBA season. He does need to improve his shooting and/or field goal percentage but his overall game is rock solid with a boat load of potential. Sometimes I'll stay awake just to watch a Rubio game for the simple fact he's so exciting to watch. He's a fun kid to pull for and hopefully becomes a Knick after he's done developing. I'm now getting ahead of myself but come 2016-2017 he'll become a free agent at the age of only 25-26 years of age as one of the hottest tickets in town. We'll have the cap space too. You're spot on in regards to his steals too, only CP3 is stronger in that regard.

Sadly I guess the opposite will be true. #7 is one of the hardest summer workers in the NBA, he is gonna get better and better. If anything the talk that we let him go is gonna rage even more. By next year, he should legitimately be one of the top 7 PGs in the L.

cp3,rondo,d-will,parker,westbrook,rose,curry,lawson,irving,lillard,holiday

which one of these guards will lin be better then next year?

Lawson (Lin's already better than him)
Lillard (when his jumpshot is not falling, he becomes pretty average)
Holiday (nothing he does Lin cannot do)
D-Will (regressed a lot)
Rondo (Rondo's an elite disher without J, by next season, Lin will be an elite disher with J)
Rose (man's psyche is fragile, is he gonna be back into All Star form?)

It's like Yao. People associated Yao with only "giant asian dude" when he first came to the L. But as he got better and better, people then associated him with "perhaps the best center in the L". Same with #7, as he gets better and better, you will see people stop associating him with "that asian dude" and more with "one of the best PGs in the L, respect".

Actually I just noted that both Lin and Melo (aka Shaq Kobe v.2) wear same number lol

Lin and Yao? Terrible comparison. Yao was the #1 overall pick for a reason. In addition to his height, he had excellent skills for his position. Lin does not.

lawson - doubtful
lillard - kinda true
holiday - false. he is the best pg defender in the nba with a better shot than lin
d-will - he's picked it up as of late
rondo - he's actually one of the better mid-range jumpers in the nba
rose - he'll be back.

Why did you have to quote him? I don't want to see this garbage.

Rondo already practicing. That's why the Celts will always be a bigger threat in the East, guys actually want to play instead of worrying about getting embarassed

Rajon Rondo (torn ACL) took part in warmups with the Celtics on Wednesday wearing a brace on his right knee.
Rondo underwent surgery on the knee in mid-February. The fact that he was on the court shooting free throws is definitely a good sign but it's far too early to determine anything about where Rondo is in his rehab. The Celtics expect him to be ready for training camp this season. Apr 3 - 6:33 PM

From Rotoworld.
Being able to shoot on the court and actually playing are way different. And there's no way he comes back in a few weeks if he's expected to return by training camp.

Rondo only had a partial ACL tear, so while this is early, it's not shocking.

Also Jrue Holiday 2-24, single-handedly chucked his team to a loss against the Bobcats. WTF.

Well if Boston holds on and wins with Milwaukee losing tonight, it's looking like the Bucks will have zero chance of catching Boston for the 7th seed. Or at least slim to none moving forward. I actually welcome a Knicks vs. Celtics playoff series with open arms. We'll sweep those guys in 4. If they end up getting lucky we'll end it in 5. A Boston team without Rondo and Allen (Miami) has zero chance of eliminating our Knicks.

Utah looks like they're going to allow the Lakers to enter the playoffs.
