I don't have a problem for them kissing each other but why do they have to replay it all the time? It seems like more than me, its ESPN who thinks its not normal and therefore need a reason to play it all the time. Why else would they feel the need to replay a kiss? What does that have anything to do with Sports?

They are replaying it because it is a big moment -- first openly gay male athlete drafted by an NFL team. That is big news. That is why they are replaying it. Since when does ESPN only focus on sports? They focus on sports related stories. This happens to be a very big sports related story and, thus, it makes sense to play it on ESPN.

So you think it is absolutely important for showing him and his boyfriend make out?? I mean why do people need to see that like every 20 minutes? Everyone knows that Michael Sam is the first openly gay NFL player but they don't have to keep showing them kissing

Do I think it's important? No. But, I also don't care. You undoubtedly do.

Love the Jets first two picks. I think they reached on CB's and WR's with better options available at times. Not very high on any of the CB's...a couple of the projects have some potential but eh. The WR's were up and down, I like a couple of them but again I don't love any of them even long term. What they really pulled of though was revamping the special teams pretty well.

Liked the LB picks for potential. We got a REALLY solid O-line prospect in Dozier. Character seemed like a running theme too and that's a good look for any team. Boyd seems like a waste but Rex loves him so let's see.

Calvin Pryor is going to be a beast. He underrated-ly can play both SS & FS. He'll be a great duo with Antonio Allen.
2 Beasts that made taking a CB less of a need. Already have depth & 1st rated CB from previous draft.
Don't doubt Rex's defense capabilities.

As far offense, after not trading up for Marqise Lee the only WRs I wanted were either Davante Adams, Jarvis Landry (for NYC battle of LSU WRs purposes) or Shaq Evans. Got Shaq Evans & was satisfied.

Shaq Evans can be a good starter day 1. Let him take Stephen Hill's spot as WR2, slide Decker up to #WR1 & Kerley remain in the slot. Very solid WR corps. Let David Nelson, Stephen Hill, Quincy Enunwa, Jalen Saunders, & Jacoby Ford battle for the last 3 spots.

As for Shaq Evans, he was a projected 3rd rd pick. He was the best available WR at the time. Jet fans wanted Martavius Bryant kid, who benefited from playing opposite Sammy Watkins, almost lost his job at the end of the season, & is raw & plays like Stephen Hill. I'm ok, don't need 2 of the same project WRs.

He's better than a few that got drafted in front of him also like Cody Latimer & Donte Moncrief.
Not familiar with the Jalen Saunders or Quincy Enunwa WRs but we'll see what they can represent. Saunders may stick as a KR/PR, letting Kerley focus on being just a slot WR. Enunwa can probably be stashed in the practice squad.

The McDougal pick, people can question but Rex is a genius with defenses, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Nobody can say they reached yet until after next season. He can end up being a steal, like most analysts are saying already.
People questioned the Sheldon Richardson pick, how that work out?

I would've preferred if Jets got a CB with some reach. We have too many 5'9 and 5'10 CB's. Only one with some reach is Dee Milliner, I guess Jets are all in on him.

I'm still surprised by the WR selection by the Giants in round one.

Sure they could use a WR but was that their biggest need?

Of course, ESPN keeps showing it over and over again. What are they trying to prove? My kids are watching SportsCenter and have to see this crap!

Shaq Evans was the one WR I liked (I actually posted right after the pick just to say it was a good one). The rest of the WR's are reaches where they were claimed and have really clear holes in their game. Needless to say, we drafted volume. I'd rather have seen the Jets take Shaq, and package those other picks to move up for a premium piece with bigger potential.

McDougal isn't comparable to Richardson. Richardson was a great prospect but seemed like an awkward scheme fit. McDougal was drafted two rounds ahead of his projection and there was a better prospect who seemed like the perfect fit for Rex still on the board. They could have drafted a separate need and grabbed McDougal later regardless.
