KD would probably let you snap his other Achilles before he’d agree to be a Net.

The surgically repaired leg regains just 95 percent of the power of the healthy leg.
“When you shoot, you jump,” he said. “You’re [sic] jump is off because you don’t have as much power in one leg than the other. You play your whole career based on how much height and quick reaction you get when you want to shoot. Some can’t do that anymore, no longer able to push off like you were before.
“And speed is heavily affected, making the quick cut. You lose a little of that power, when you want to push off as hard as you want. An elite athlete losing 5 percent power makes big difference.’’
I get laughed at but KD will be somewhere between Joe Ingles and Tobias Harris. I hope I'm wrong if he comes here but this is where I'm betting money on.
Will look like Michael Porter Jr for real

B: Melo | FVV | Rozier
B: J. Green | Donte | N. Clifford
B: Herb | K. Oubre | B. Hield
B: Zion | G. Yabusele | D. Jones Jr
B: KP | J. Huff

I'm not sure if this is true, but they said on Duncd On that if HOU trades everyone except CP3 and Harden, they still couldn't give Butler the max with all the roster hold charges.

A big Hell Nah to KD S&T with the Warriors. KD and the Warriors took a risk. Let them deal with the consequences and pay him. I rather the Knicks focus on getting Kawhi Leonard and make him the priority in this and if the Raptors want to make a S&T and get rid of Gasol while they are at it to compensate their salary cap.
Can the Knicks include Mitch and Dallas picks to get KL(S&T), M.Gasol, and Vanvleet?
Is this even possible?

Well you're predicting what a player who's a top 3 player in the NBA will be as a player in a year or two from now and you're doing it with a straight face. You don't think that's just a little bit ridiculous? We all know how serious of a injury it is and we all know players don't come back the same but we don't really have the best examples to go off of for players as good as KD and that are 30 years old. We have examples of how great players that were in their mid 30's when they had the injury came back and we have examples of mediocre players that were never good or great and just decent players came back from this injury. But do we have any examples of a player like Kevin Durant and how they came back from this type of injury? We don't would be the answer. So how are you gonna predict he'll be somewhere between a Joe Ingles and Tobias Harris type talent in a couple of years and not expect to get laughed at?

Looks a lot better than before. And if it goes in, it goes in.
3 you know I'm not a DSJ hater. Him making his shot helps my Frank DSJ pairing become more of a reality.
I just think everything looks awful about that shot.
I know you not hating lol. Imo, i don’t really see it as a big concern. His shot looks better to me. We’ll just have to wait and see until the season starts. Hopefully the results are good.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

Re: Offseason Thread: Sunday Funday can't come fast enough
Signing a 30 yo KD coming off a ruptured achilles would be a disaster for this franchise. He's never going to be the same player. If he were 26 like Melo when he got traded to NY, then I would be more optimistic about the outcome. But I doubt that KD's ever going to be a great player for the Knicks considering his age and the injury he just suffered.
The only positive that I can see is that KD could mentor Barrett and show him the work ethic that is required in order to become a great player in the NBA. I don't like KD's personality but I don't question is his work ethic and his love for the game for one second.

Anyone else here Begley on espn radio? He said most execs feel Kyrie is going to the Knicks, not Brooklyn like espn has been pushing..interesting

Check how at no point this season, KL to the knicks was even a thing, or possibility until very recently where the media speculated, only to turn it back around to, oh, no meeting, maybe a phone call, lol. **** is so transparent. Easiest job in the world - make up rumors with fake sources, report on your own fake rumors, debunk your own fake rumors, rinse repeat.

KD will be hounded by the media types whenever he steps out in public, and they'll be watching and filming his every move (or non-move) in his recovery. The mental pressure is going to be immense.
Do we just ignore the fact that KD has won 2 finals MVPs which probably speaks a little to his mental strength and endurance under immense pressure? We’re not talking about a child going through stage fright - this is a grown man that’s been able to drive himself so hard he’s become the best performer in the entire world. The mental issues seem a bit overblown.
KD won those titles with Curry, Klay and Draymond. An average/good starter like Harrison Barnes did it too. KDs accomplishments in GSW were very weak tbh.
So we’re at KD is no better than Harrison Barnes now?
