Also funny to see how the real life dynamics of NBA franchises takes place in BAF years later.

We all started with clean slates, now you have your treadmill teams (Minnesota, OKC), your up and coming powerhouse teams (Cavs, Cha, Indiana, Clippers), your perennial contenders (BKN,Dallas,GSW,Blazers,Bulls), doomed franchises (Grizzlies, Was). Decisions made in year 1 or 2 really handcuffed some teams, or put them in position to prosper down the line.

Damn, Toronto ain’t even get a mention

My bad lol, was a quick off the top of my head write up. Toronto definitely been up there since you took over, and you’ve proven yourself to be one of the best GMs with the trades you’ve made.

My team was trash last year because I wanted it to be. I didn't want to have an old roster with a small window like the Blazers. I could have easily kept building on the team that you were a whole 1 game better than in year one but I decided it wasn't worth it so I tore it down.

Do you know what a pretender is? Pretenders win in the playoffs they just are never good enough to actually win a title. Your team was never good enough. You can "pretend" they were but that's staying true to your identity

If you're looking up words, look up the definition of a contender and the word perennial all this could have been avoided if you just asked for a category that said: "regular season pretender"
