he seemed to have plenty of say in the pursuit of gordan hayward last night. If he goes to management (his buddy) leon and says I see no way DSJ or Iggy will get on the court in any meaningful situation get me 2 guys that I can trust you think Leon will say...nah son good luck?

maybe someone in the front office likes iggy and thinks he can one day be something. dennis is here because they hope to get something for him. the knicks have a ton of injuries, there's plenty of guys he would play if we were healthy. they might not want to cut someone because a week from now they won't have to.

He has no long term role here so might as well trade him before he’s a free agent. Sell high on him before we lose him for nothing

Or see if he take $10 for 3-years or some low offer. He can play defense and is a better shooter than RJ or Payton, hell of a high bar to clear. We aren't going to be competitive for 4-5 years barring this years draft being a miracle.

If the players we're replacing him with are Elfrid Payton then I'd just keep Frank.

What y’all think we can get in a Randle trade? Seems like he’s just inna contract year. Time to sell on whatever high his value is on.

Nothing outside this board. Go to the T&T board, not one team wants Randle for really anything. He doesn't make the contending teams better or doesn't fit their modern NBA style, and the tanking teams don't want him because he's either blocking a young player or is over their age threshold / money threshold. The longer we wait the better chance for a catastrophic injury on a team that cares to be competitive and thinks Randle can play small ball center (or they have a stretch 5 ... which is really just Dallas, Minn and maybe Denver). But the more we wait the more he'll regress to the mean on his long 2 shooting and his turnovers will continue to spike.

I'd take any competent NBA (point) guard on a not Wall / Westbrick contract. Rozier would be insane but Charlotte isn't that stupid, Jalen Brunson and Dwight Powells rotting corpse would be fine by me maybe they throw a pick swap in as well and we tie our fortune completely to the Dallas injury report.

people like to think if kids just work hard they'll make it, but there's hundreds of college kids every year who worked harder than kids who made the nba but didn't make it themselves because of physical limitations.

The game is attrition. That's why prime is around 26-33. That's when you're the perfect mix of strength, speed and skill. The younger crew are too weak, the older too slow.

That's why expecting rookies to start or be sensations is crazy. Even Toppin who is more physically ready doesn't have the experience.

I like IQ he’ll be fine. He has game.

They’ve adjusted to take away Randle’s space without doubling him and he has gone back to sucking.

I’m not going back on this: Elfrid and Randle are no good. Get rid of them and bring back Frank.

Kevin Knox with 5 threes a team high 19pts and 5reb 2ast and played 30 minutes. He looked like an NBA player last night.

He’s making strides but he was pretty bad second half. He has a long way to go.
