Was my go-to for everything Knicks since I was in my teens
Now I'm not sure if 75% of the post are folks trolling or really that morbid and overtly negative about everything we do
It's sad

You lost the Randle war my friend. Officially!
Nah, war was over in the first round after he shot .298. This is the heat death of the Knicks universe and you're going to have to be his spokesman for any bad performances going forward. Your brand is now tied to Randles for good, may god have mercy on your soul.
No no you were saying you’ve won the war when he gets the super max. Since that didn’t happen you switching up!!

Exactly treadmill is a team that has good but untraceable contracts and can't grow. We no longer have that.BKlutch wrote:Capn'O wrote:Knicks didn't have the avenue to create a great team within the next few years so they created a good one. They have contracts and assets to facilitate a deal or they could just be a good team for a bit. That's going to create cache for the next time we have the opportunity to create a great one. Dolan can become an afterthought like all the other jackass billionaire owners in the league.
Hopefully we get some good flashes from the younger guys. Especially McBride/Vildoza, as we'll eventually need somebody to take the PG reins and at best Kemba and Rose will need some off games this year.
It's very important to realize that creating a good team is a step along the usual path towards creating a great team. It is NOT synonymous with a "treadmill" team, but is a further level towards where we want to be. Our roster will not be static for more than 2 years, and there's always the possibility that if some star likes who we have become, they will request a trade. We now have some pieces we can trade if that happens. If not, let's enjoy the basketball!

I mean it’s okay if you don’t want to win a championship. Enjoy these wins I guess. We’ll always watch someone else holding up the trophy but at least we might get into the playoffs.
