you can tell being on team that’s finally playing for something again has put and extra pep in clarkson’s step. he’s gonna make a lot of the negative takes look foolish in my honest opinion. he provides us with what we’ve sorely been lacking since we traded iq

Let's see if he can keep the three-point percentage above 36 again. I think that will be key for us.

He's also going to be expected to give 20 minutes, not 30 minutes each night so he can go all out in his limited time.

Although, seriously, for the vetmin Clarkson is a huge upgrade over Terry Johnson. The only thing Cam got on him is the occasional feisty defensive energy but the dependable ball handling and bench scoring from JC is very much needed.

Deuce is great and all that but he wasn't a guy you can depend on generating offense with his own dribble the way Clarkson can. He'll actually thrive sharing the back court with a guy who demands the attention JC does.

Plus if Hart goes to the bench then he'll have plenty of chances to clean up the glass off Clarkson gunning. Yabuty is also an upgrade over Precious, maybe not defensively but his ability to stretch the floor is huge.

Yet, I do expect Clarkson to be the whipping boy this season just like Cam was last season but Yabuty probably won't get the regular hate Precious did. I just hope Huk can find his way into regular mins this season to bolster the center rotation depth.

I think we are absolutely missing this type of energy.. I can see Clarkson having a resurgence season getting quality minutes on a team with direction.
