Every offense is more dangerous when there's ball and off-ball movement going on, especially when your roster isn't that talented. Yes, he'd pass to Felton and it'd be better than what they're doing right now.

And how great has Waiters done for the Cavs? How has his ball movement and passing done for them this season? Last season? How about the chucking? Does that get ignored cause it doesn't fit? How about the lack of defense? Does that only matter if they wear a Knick uniform?

Ny- Gets a backup center in perkins and Thabo who are defensive minded players the knicks can use. With this move they fully commit to Shumpert and Hardaway Jr. Reggie Jackson is the cherry on top as he cud step up and start

OKC- Bargnani next to Ibaka wudnt be bad as he can pull opposing big men out of the paint allowing durant and westbrook to attack even more... Thabo is replaced by Jr who could become there 3rd scorer they need. Martin and Udrih are 2 solid veterans they can have off the bench... They lose promising player in reggie but he plays the same position as westbrook. They also upgrade from perkins , thabo to Bargani, Jr

Perkins is absolutely the worst starting C (and you can possibly argue the worst C period that gets any real playing time) in the NBA right now. That might be something that you can ignore and just stick him at the end of the bench if not for the fact that he's owed $8.5 million this season and $9.1 million next season. Thabo isn't anything special, won't really help spread the floor for Anthony and he's a FA after this season so there's probably a good chance he'll bolt. Jackson isn't ready to be a full time anything yet (still too many turnovers and he's playing a team with 2 guys that can mask his weaknesses and draw attention away from him). Unless the Knicks are looking rebuild (i.e. Jackson being the bet) this really doesn't help much.

Yes he hasnt been that good but in a backup role for 15 mins a gm he should be fine.... Thabo isnt great but he is a defender who can hit the 3 ball and makes smart descions and doesnt go beyond his limits... Jackson even with his flaws is a upgrade to wat we have now...

He's a willing passer and that's all that's relevant here. I don't know why you're acting like he's supposed to be the #1 option here. He can't force the rest of the team to play better. Isolation plays make up 14,5% of his offense. JR Spliff isolates on 26,5% of his plays. Melo isolates on 21,4% of his plays. Even in a bad offensive system, he's very efficient as a spot up shooter which is another part of our offense that's failing us since Pablo is the only one who can hit a shot.

Just wondering... How much would we get laughed at trying to deal JR and Felton for Kemba Walker and a salary filler? Jordan is an abysmal GM and maybe sees something in JR and is 18 PPG last year and Felton is their hometown talent coming back to Charlotte.. again. Any other team/management and I wouldn't even offer the proposal, but Jordan is that dumb.

The KnicKs LiL NaTe in me is slowly coming back with this putrid escuse of a team. I've been against Melo, JR, and Felton from the start.

These are some of the deals I'd look into.

Bargnani + Melo = Asik + Lin + Parsons

Chandler = McGee + Our Pick Back

Melo = Oladipo + Nelson + Our Pick

Melo = Gallo + Our Pick + Mozgov + Nate

Jordan isn't the GM of the Bobcats, he's the owner.

Yeah but Jordan makes a good amount of the basketball decisions and is heavily involved.

Think Houston would bite on Bargs/Felton for Asik/Lin? They get their stretch 4, and a quality backup PG for Beverly in Felton. Asik's happy, we have our new starting C and a championship calibre backup who could benefit from the limited role in light of recent health issues. Lin and Felton have comparable stats, but although he commits more turnovers, I see more intelligent play from Jeremy Lin (I was a Felton supporter amidst the whole Houston contract fiasco) - he can get to the rack, hit outside shots consistently enough to draw attention, and has much better court vision

Asik/Chandler/Cole
Tyler/Kenyon/Amar'e
Melo/MWP/Shump
Shumpert/THJ
Lin/Prigioni/Murry

9 man rotation: Lin, Shump, Melo, Tyler, Asik, THJ, Prigioni, MWP, Chandler

Just listened to a BS report. They were floating out a Shump + Felton for Lowry trade. I would take that and run.

How so? Fat Felton is worthless, Shump needs a change in scenery. Lowry is very underrated, hes a good attacking PG that would fit well with the Knicks.

I love Lowry, but he's only good when he feels like it, and he's barely felt like it since Houston.

The main benefit of a deal like that is that he's expiring. I wouldn't include Shump for that unless there is some soft of pick coming our way.

He was battling injury last season and looks fully healthy this year. He has a very reasonable contract and already has experience playing with Bargs and a Melo type player (Gay). Best of all, his best strength is attacking the basket, something the Knicks really lack.

Melo misses Kidd in the locker room, well...there ya go!

It's the latest one with Zack Lowe. Basically it depends on how much Toronto wants to tank. The trade is at most net neutral to Toronto, so not sure how much they want to help the Knicks. They will probably require a draft pick.
