Did I ruin the party? Am I the dad at the slumber party who came into the bedroom and told everyone to "knock it off and get to bed already?" Or did this thread just stall naturally?

It's been on a steady decline for an hour or two... It was insane earlier and now it's just pooped out.

I'm in the southwest so it's not as late for me.

when i first heard this, i was shocked and lost a lot of enthusiasm for the team.

now i'm kinda over it. I'll still root hard, but it will sting for a while. This isnt like losing Gallo or Chandler. Those guys never saved our season.

Lin saved Dantoni's arse. Melo saved our season.

 Keep telling yourself that.

Lin saved the season.. Woodson saved Melo's ass.

You've done a complete 180 I remember when you used to defend Melo vehemently, what the hell happened?

Very cool. Just wondering since you mentioned that you're in the Southwest. I'm in San Diego.

I'm just telling the truth... How I see it.

I still like Melo... but I saw things in his game I never have seen before and I lived in Denver and went to a ton of nuggets games.

I said the same things as soon as Miami eliminated us... He had a really bad year except for the last month of the regular season and the first 8 or 10 games.

He tightened up after he got back from injury... he was choking the ball and coming up short on jumpers... rushing... forcing the issue... things he never has done. You could tell all the "can you and Lin play together" stuff got to him. Then in the Miami series... go back and watch the games... he went right back to looking tight... forcing... looking nervous. I'd never seen him like that in Denver.

I always thought if there was one guy in the NBA who could handle the bright lights... or the media scrutiny it would be him... maybe he can handle it next year. But too see it when you thought you'd never see it kind of gets you down on the guy... especially when you're going out of your way to defend him.

I am browsing the Steam Store right now.

Any games I should look at?

Browsing through these games, I forgot how underrated PC gaming is.

This pack includes, Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition, Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Deluxe Edition and Assassin's Creed Revelations: Gold Edition, 35 bucks, sick deal.

Skyrim just now won the community choice, and it's half off. Other then that, the daily deals is where it's at (don't go for the other stuff in store, just go for the daily deals, community picks and flash deals. Usually you'll see AAA games at 75% off - Saints Row the Third was like 12 yesterday and Fallout 3 was like 4 bucks)

Edit: I've played the Assassins Creed games. Well up to Brothehood. Many say AC II was the best followed by Brotherhood. But that pack for under 35 with the ENTIRE franchise is just awesome.)

@IanBegley @BillyBauer1 @TheNBA_Insider I think he is the real deal! from speaking to him, he says Dolan has overruled Grunwald to get Lin

Royce Leather Gifts ‏@Royce_Leather
@SeemsHarmless @BillyBauer1 I think it's true. I investigated this guy and he is a CAA agent and connected to Lin's marketing team

Does Lin have any affiliation to CAA?

The CAA connection is interesting. Apparently CAA tried to sign and Lin but he refused. He instead signed with Jim Tanner and his massive firm that has influence in the walls of washington dc. The agency lin signed with makes CAA look infantile. CAA also represents Melo Woodson Jr CP3 LBJ Wade Bosh and some say that CAA pays SAS to push there clients interests on national television.

The CAA connection with the Knicks runs deep and maybe all of this would have been avoided if Lin was a CAA man. And also SAS would probably be a lot nicer to him

Why Lin refused to sign with CAA Seriously? Its the biggest agent n will benefit him in a lot of way.

If the team chooses to match Lin, disregarding Melo&JR's comments to keep Lin from coming back, it's pretty much over for Melo. The damage is done; heads will roll. Whether it be Lin or Melo, unless of course they miraculously bring home the trophy next year. If the team doesn't match Lin, it's over for Melo, as he will be crucified by the fans; unless they *see above* w/o Lin. Sorry Melo, should have kept your mouth shut.

As for Lin, deep down I know he will be better off in Houston, away from the selfish, butt hurt players that are supposed to be his teammates. But as a Knicks fan, I selfishly hope he stayed a Knick. Either way, he's getting paid.

Conclusion: Linsanity 1 Melo 0
