Kuz is a good all around player. Last season looked like an adjustment period for him.

Kuz has some talent but he never showed he could do much in half court and he was fairly inept at D. What you saw in that video above is what he does best - breakaway layups are his thing. He will need to show us a better shot and more effort on D to think he's worth keeping.

His gf, on the other hand, is a keeper.

He's a decent BENCH player in the NBA and he'll look better next year. Still will be just a decent bench player, but he'll look better doing it. Some Europeans do need an adjustment year. Kuz is one of those.

if his shot isn't falling he's literally useless. he's nothing more then a fringe nba player.

He cuts well, gets out in transition, has a decent handle for a SF and his 3 point will come. His D isn't that good and probably never will be. Yes, I wouldn't want him as first forward off the bench, but as 2nd and probably 3rd, making him a 9th man, he's not bad at the price. Plus he's used to playing a Euro style, which has more of a share the ball, move the ball, whole team mindset which fits in with the current hopefully to be cornerstone, KP. I'm not saying he's really good. A little better than fringe, not by a lot, but a good fit around the style KP wants to play and is a part of who he is.

He's another guy on this roster who would look so much better with a true floor general able to set him up. We have a lot of these guys who are finishers but not good as creators. Then you have guys like KP WHG Melo who could create their own shot but would be even more potent with someone serving them open looks.

Hopefully Frank can turn into that.

If we were able to get Rubio last year, we would of seen a totally different impact from everyone. Oh wel

Willy plays Friday then KP plays on Saturday and Sunday. Good consecutive days of basketball to watch.

According to the schedule in the OP, Latvia plays August 19 and August 20.

Will he be able to avoid injury for that long?

My guess - Kristaps will play less against Romania on Sunday, as the Saturday against Lithuania is THE match for latvians.

I like Kuz fine at FIBA level, but he is not a very good NBA player. He is basically below average at everything. Can be useful as small ball 4, but thats about it.

Probably not, he never played 2 games in his whole life.

I don't think that he's played 2 games in a row PLUS attended an exit meeting though.

Next game against JV.

Will be interesting to see how he hold ons against him. JV will for sure be going on him in the post.

And I'am still waiting for him to drive to the basket, and show more of his speed/dribbles. JV is a perfect target for that.
