Is it possible fatigue was setting in, and he could have sat him for 4 minutes and then went back to him? That's an idea.

Or, he's a rookie and they make mistakes and let him play through them...or not.

It's unfortunate for the Knicks that the fake hustle wins early in the year made them think they are in the playoff race

He stole back one of those turnovers.

Frank the only person I see get pulled for mistakes. Jack could be trash and Beasley could take 10 contested shots in a row and Jeff turn the other way.

It's kind of annoying. I'm just sort of numb to it. And hey, Red Vines might be right, Frank may turn out to be a bust yet, A french accented Landry Fields and everything. I just think we need at least a full season and a half, if not two full years, to go there.

Seriously, Burke and Frank should be getting the majority of minutes from here on out - and Jack can enjoy his guaranteed contract from the safety of the bench.

There's no upside to having Jack play serious minutes the rest of the way.

the only reason he is playing is jeff knows his ass is going to be canned and he just trusts the vet more to run his offense. Thats it...so it up to Perry/Mills to come down and tell him what to do or they will can him right now.

yeah. 9 points and 5 assists. i think i hear the hall of fame calling.

That was in just 17 minutes though. I know, the brain gets feeble at your age, but f you double the minutes (17 x 2 = 34 minutes), then we're looking at 18 pts and 10 assists plus the defense ... Mr. Grinch.

That's "The Coaches' Mantra." If you're going to go down, you go down with the vets.

Phil put together a team that wouldve been good 5 years ago. Perry has barely tried so far.

Every signing Perry has made has been productive so far. Phil couldn't say that.

What he said he would do: Young, athletic, defense. Beasley is none of those for instance. Jack is none of those. Sessions was none of those. Kanter barely one of those. Doug is barely one of those. Mills signed Tim who is two of those. I could see what Phil was trying to accomplish, what's frustrating about Perry is the lack of any vision or ability to stay true to it.

Hope this wasn't right about Perry being set up for failure:

Just imagine our last 30 games where we have Burke, Frank, Dotson, Willy, KP, Dotson, Isiah Hicks and Nigel Hayes playing the majority of the minutes for us. That'll be a lot of fun!

Let's trade Lee and O'Quinn for the Brooklyn pick that Cleveland possesses and we'll add 2 more nice chips to our future dynasty.

8th pick. Another Frank level player. Can't wait.

This year is stacked at forward which is a huge position of need. We will get quality up until the 10th pick or so.

Frank should be fine, he just turned 19. Mitchell is 21. Frank out measures Mitchell by a lot. Give the kid 2-3 nba seasons before we completely dog him. I think Frank will be a good NBA player.

again......... the kid cant even buy beer legally

Perhaps luka is a pipe dream...but...another player of Franks level??...how is that a bad thing??.....who wouldn't feel stoked adding a guy like Mohammed Bamba...kevin knox...etc

...these professional teenagers have value.....especially the tall ones

Knicks need a difference maker next to KP. Those are nice players not difference makers. That's where the Knicks have probably blown it this year.

All the more reason this team is 2 years away from anything AFTER this season. If they get into the top 4 by luck of the lotto, then maybe they get that guy, but they've done everything to not make that happen.

I dunno. They are nice players that strike me like Wilson Chandler level talents. That doesn't "stoke" me. I know it would improve the team That is a good thing. It also probably is a team still treading water in the 35-38 wins category. That's not a good thing.

It's also really funny to me when people knock Perry for bringing in Kanter even though Enes is a bad defender.

What was Perry supposed to do? Refuse the deal and take Ryan Anderson instead?

The expectation that Perry was supposed to fully realize his vision for the team in one off-season with no cap is curious.
