Plenty of players have odd form to their shooting and are good/great shooters though. I don't see how anyone can watch videos of DSJ or any player and say he has some kind of glitch in his form or release or whatever so he won't be able to shoot at a good percentage. Players do what feels comfortable to them and can make it work for them and some most likely do have to fix whatever that glitch is in their form to become good shooters. A lot of it is more about these guys having confidence in their shot when they release it and being right mentally.

I'm good with giving DSJ this year to see if he can fix his shot and i've been one of the biggest people that isn't a DSJ fan.

Good mechanics are easy to point out. No, not everyone has to shoot the same shoot the same way, but you can see all the issues all the way through. Even guys who start off on the other side of their body look good once they release.

Chill with the tacking on assumptions based on an observation. Where did I say "whatever so he won't be able to shoot at a good percentage."??

THJ had hella confidence in his shot. He still looked like this guy a whole lot.

Image

So you do think he can shoot at a good percentage without fixing all these glitches you and our other shooting coaches see with him? I'm confused then cause it seems like you're saying he has to fix these issues that you see for him to be able to shoot at a good percentage but now you're saying you don't think that?

That's cuz ESPN has their narrative to push. Woj, Steven A, Max, Marks. All with a vested interest in fake rumors pushing and drama so that they can have **** to "debate" about. Sad

Are you really that delirious Kawhi will never sign here its the raptors or to LA. Hes from Southern California, hes not choosing to be in NY over the lakers or clippers.

The last two players I recall who’ve come back from torn Achilles have been Rudy Gay and Matthews, both obviously when healthy they weren’t on the level of KD, but they also have returned to somewhat the kind of players they were before..so not sure why such doubt KD can at least return to a top 10 player, maybe not top 2, but top 10

First of all, relax with the "delirious" stuff. You're 3 posts in.

Second of all, I said we're getting a meeting. I didn't say anything about where he's signing.

i think the question is do the knicks really want Kyrie...thats another year on his knees and he wont be a spry chicken...maybe with KD out they reconsidered not wanting to commit to Kyrie because of his longevity concerns...

I believe in the narrative that teams will sign Kyrie in order to get another name, but no one is out there trying to sign Kyrie as their franchise player.

The mental issues seem a bit overblown.

KD won those titles with Curry, Klay and Draymond. An average/good starter like Harrison Barnes did it too. KDs accomplishments in GSW were very weak tbh.

So we’re at KD is no better than Harrison Barnes now?

Barnes 2015 Finals: 8.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 0.8 apg on .373 shooting
Barnes 2016 Finals: 9.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1.4 apg on .352 shooting

KD 2017 Finals: 35.2 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 5.4 apg on .556 shooting (Finals MVP)
KD 2018 Finals: 28.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 7.5 apg on .526 shooting (Finals MVP)

Not a great comparison.

Kyrie and KD's Achilles are one and the same. You take it to get to KD. I'm fine with Kyrie as long as KD comes with him.

I wouldn't mind Kyrie. In a different environment (of his choosing), maybe he would be happier and thrive. Maybe the dysfunction in Boston was a humbling experience. Weird dude, but he's only 27.

If he comes, he needs another vet alongside him though. If it were up to me I'd just continue to rebuild through the draft and pass on these max cats, but I wouldn't be mad if we signed Kyrie. I still see him signing with Brooklyn, I'd be shocked if they made all these moves only to miss out on Kyrie.

It's really the KD signing I'm worried about.

I'm not sure why the Lakers and Clippers going before us is seen as a positive for them.

Toronto went out of their way to make sure they were the last pitch.

Wouldn't it make sense that the Knicks want to go as close to last as possible then? Certainly after the Lakers and Clippers have blown their powder?

That's why if Woj isn't breaking actual news, he's really not worth putting stock into.

Shams stays out of the opinion game.

There's really no such thing as "News" anymore. They're all just entertainment or spin shows.

Fox News is a shill for Trump and the Republicans -- so, it's no surprise Woj is a shill for the Nets and a few others. It just goes to show you can't always believe everything you read and hear.
