Now you're mentioning CHI who had the same argument for being a perennial contender? GSW didn't have Aldridge season 1, regardless you know everything that's being going on with all those teams (Including Portland) but no one knows what you've been up to the last three years.

I know I put together a trash roster, I don't know who is on the roster, maybe you don't know, but someone somewhere here should know. Anyway... Forget about all that, from this day forward I will have this team tank and I will find the right players to get us in the playoffs!!

I'm fine with the discussion of players both good and bad. I've said it before, to me that is the best part of this thing, to discuss players and concepts and how one player may play off of another one. Explain your vision and maybe people will see the game differently. Team building and roster construction and how you build your franchise both for immediate and the long term. That discussion is when BaF is at its best IMO. At this point in the game, no GM should be swayed by another, everyone should be doing their own homework and forming their own opinions on players. Don't let another GM manipulate how you feel, all GM's need to have the courage of their convictions when it comes to their players/team.

Take that discussion away and this thread and BaF in general will suffer and eventually die out. But there is a fine line between good natured discussion and things we want to stay away from.

After what happened this past season we put a rule in place that there would be no personal attacks between GMs. Even though these past couple of pages seem like old fashioned build a franchise trash talk, please keep the personal attacks out of this thread.
