Just watched the game
Not a great game, but one thing I noticed was Knox made contributions in the 2nd quarter when the only other player who was on point was Burks. Saw some good things from Obi and a few nice plays from IQ

I hope that's what happens, he needs to build up that value before the deadline
C'mon Mitch ain't going anywhere. Mitch is the type of center you trade for or wish for in free agency. Absence reduces perceived value, you forgot how impactful he is. once he starts playing and dominating again, every one will hop back on like they never cried in the first place.

He wouldn't survive NYC, he would crumble just like he did in Philly. He is now trying to go to some low market team like Sacramento where he can hide from the spotlight
One lowlight yup you’ve never watched him play his entire career
Thing is... his lowlights come in the playoffs. So what's the point? If he's gonna get you to the postseason and then can't handle the pressure, there's no point in gutting your team for him. Imagine the pressure to win in New York with all the media nitpicking everything he does. He can't handle Philly, he's gonna hate it here.
People were down on Randle for his bad playoff series. But he was an overachiever last season and a first time All Star playing in his first postseason. You can kinda excuse that. But Ben Simmons is a first overall pick with lots of expectations of taking the next step to be a superstar. There's no excuse for "lowlights" in the playoffs when they were looked at as championship contenders with Embiid. Superstars have to show up when it counts.

His rebound and half-court outlet pass which led to that dunk was sweet.

Simmons is not a good basketball player and has been cheesy as a person. What’s there to like?

That. He showed signs of being alert and looking to do something for a change

Re: PG: Pistons vs Knicks
If Randle can just repeat last season with a small improvement in efficency thanks to the better supporting cast, to compensate for the small downgrade in pure volume that we are likely to see, I'll be happy.
...but if he ever cleans up his passing to cut out the couple of turnovers a game from bad passes, and starts consistently hitting guys in their flow, I think that would unlock a whole new level from him. Julius has a good sense for playmaking and how his actions affect a defense to make space for his team-mates, but I don't think his actual passing skills match his vision...and so we leave a handful of baskets on the court every game just because (too often) guys have to chase his passes.
I genuinely think he could shave up to 2 TOs/game, and add an assist or two, just from improving his passing accuracy...even without any other changes/improvements to his game/supporting-cast...and would love to see that be the part of his game he focuses on next summer.
