Interesting. And it all came completely in the flow of the game - nothing forced - no ISO, he’s not that type of player. That makes it even more impressive. Good for him.

rj went from 13.6 to 17.1 ppg, 26% from three to 38%, and 42.6% overall fg to 48% with one game. :laugh:

Rose over 50% from 3 as well. That’s awesome but what worries me is that the games have been close and I know there’s no way those averages can hold up mathematically over the course of a season. So hope when they’re off others can step up

Just watched RJ highlights again. I’m honestly in disbelief. Doesn’t even look like the same player. Going right, finishing at rim, 3 ball, mid range, step back, Off the dribble shooting, and solid defense.

Yup, he needs to accept that - if he is not in the thick of it, he gets lackadaisical, nonchalant, loses court awareness and gets sloppy. If the play is developing without him, find an open spot, get position for an offensive rebound - he just seems a little aloof at times if he is not in control. And I love Randle, he is a warrior, he just needs time to adapt to a team that has better players and Thibs needs to instill that in him. It’s a beautiful thing when the ball is moving.
